2 Dear SWCC Run, Inc. Sponsor: On behalf of the 2015 Southwest Center City (SWCC) 5K Run, I am excited to announce our planning for the seventh annual event this Fall. The run is scheduled for 9AM on Saturday, October 31st Halloween! - and will take participants through a scenic neighborhood route. Over the last six years, the run has become a calendar highlight for fall in the neighborhood and serves residents and guests as an important community building event. Our team of organizers consists of a group of dedicated residents who generously contribute their professional skills, networks and time to achieve our mission: creating a year-over-year history of successful runs and associated neighborhood improvements from event proceeds. This year we are proud to once again support our terrific neighborhood elementary school Chester A. Arthur, through a partnership with Friends of Chester Arthur. Proceeds from the event will support the Arthur Schoolyard. This year s race will boast a number of brand new features a kids fun run (the Spooky Sprint ), a streamlined course that remains one of the city s most unique, mile markers (a much requested enhancement) and more. We have also strived to add more meaningful sponsor levels and benefits that will allow you to make the most of partnering with us. Arthur. We are committed to partnering with all of Arthur s stakeholders to foster a robust learning environment for our neighborhood children. We help the school to fundraise, form strategic partnerships, innovate, and market its successes. ABOUT THE SWCC 5K RUN Since 2008, the Southwest Center City 5K Run has served the area as a healthy, communitybuilding event. In addition to hosting hundreds of participants, the event gives back to the community through its non-profit, SWCC Run, Inc., contributing to beautification initiatives.
