2 Sponsorships Effective, flexible and affordable BC Non-Profit Housing Association has two main sponsorship opportunities annually. Three times a year, BCNPHA hosts Regional Education, Networking & Tradeshow (RENT) events on Vancouver Island, Northern BC and Interior BC. BCNPHA RENTs These regional education and networking events take place three times a year across BC. Annual Conference BCNPHA s annual conference is the largest affordable housing conference in Western Canada. Tradeshow The tradeshow is held with the Conference, showcasing the latest products and services. The second opportunity is at our annual conference that takes place in November over four days. BCNPHA hosts Western Canada s largest affordable housing conference, with nearly 1000 delegates from across British Columbia. We also provide other sponsorship and promotional opportunities such as advertising in BCNPHA s magazine style quarterly newsletter infolink, as well as sponsoring special events such as the annual Health Minister s Luncheon. Below you will find details about these sponsorship opportunities, along with the benefits that are included with sponsorship. 1

3 BCNPHA RENT s Regional Education, Networking and Tradeshow Sessions As the provincial association for non-profit housing providers, BCNPHA hosts three one-day RENT events in different cities around the province each year. BCNPHA RENTs offer high quality, accessible education to societies, as well as facilitating regional community development and in-depth exploration of regional issues. Plenary and network sessions bring non-profits together to hear inspiring and thought-provoking keynote speakers, and enhance connections in the region. BCNPHA s tradeshows showcase the latest products and services available to non-profits. Regional media such as Global News and CBC regularly report on BCNPHA RENTs. Sponsors have the opportunity to support and engage with the non-profit housing sector and decision makers at the regional level. 5 Media Coverage A leading voice for the affordable housing sector BCNPHA s Annual Conference last year received province-wide media attention. There were more than 250 individual pieces of media coverage, including TV broadcast, radio, print and digital media, with a total of 40.6 million media impressions. BCNPHA has also become a leading go-to organization for the affordable housing sector, with regular media requests from CBC News, Vancouver Sun, Metro News, Global News, 24 Hours Vancouver, Globe and Mail, Georgia Straight and The Tyee. BCNPHA s Annual Conference received province wide media attention, with more than 250 individual pieces of media coverage. Media coverage included CBC News, Global TV, CTV, CKNW, Vancouver Sun, The Province, Globe & Mail and the Huffington Post. BCNPHA has become the go-to organization for the affordable housing sector. We can t afford to pay for it later. We have money for the aftereffects, but dwindling funds to tackle core issue of housing affordability. 6 Education A variety of educational and training opportunities are offered by BCNPHA Sponsors have a unique opportunity to help deliver more than 70 education sessions, or a series of sessions, sponsor keynote speakers and host networking events for the non-profit housing sector. The 2014 conference welcomed more than 800 conference delegates. Delegates chose from a huge range of educational sessions that support the financial and social sustainability of the non-profit housing sector. 7 Tradeshow An expanded Tradeshow at this year s Annual Aonference The Tradeshow is held annually in conjunction with the Conference. Exhibitors have multiple opportunities to connect with current and potential clients. In 2014, 32 exhibitors showcased their products and services that benefit the non-profit housing sector. The tradeshow is an excellent vehicle for Conference delegates to avail themselves of the advice and expertise of suppliers of products and services related to non-profit housing management. Premier, Platinum and Gold Conference sponsors are entitled to a complimentary trade show booth, among other benefits. Silver sponsors can access a 50% discounted rate.
