2 STEM Initiative in Malaysia Education Blueprint Aims: Prepare students with the skills to meet the science and technology challenges. To ensure that Malaysia has a sufficient number of qualified STEM graduates. 2

16 : Wave 2 Building on the STEM foundations that was implemented in Wave 1 The roll-out of the KSSM (Secondary School Standard Curricula) and revised KSSR (Primary School Standard Curricula) From 2019 onwards, the Ministry intends to participate in the Grade 4 TIMSS assessment in addition to the Grade 8. Development of VLE. Teachers share their experiences in teaching the new curriculum, learn from each other and provide feedback to the Ministry. 16
