3 PRE-K GENERAL RULES FOR GIRLS No jewellery except for: a wrist watch one set of matching sleepers or plain gold or silver stud earrings, one in each ear lobe Hair must be a natural colour Fad hairstyles are unacceptable Shoulder length hair must be pulled back from the face with plain red, black or white ribbons/bands/scrunchies If a girl s fringe is long enough to cover her eyes it must be tied back from her face No nail polish No chewing gum Regulation School socks must be worn Shoes need to be maintained in a good state of repair. 6 GENERAL RULES FOR GIRLS Students should be well presented at all times. Jewellery: No jewellery except for: Hair: a wrist watch one set of small matching sleepers or stud earrings (gold or silver), one in each ear. Plastic or clear piercings are NOT acceptable. Shoulder length hair must be completely tied up in a ponytail, plait, bun or similar with the option of plain red, black or white ribbons/bands/scrunchies. Bow hairclips, fancy headbands, or bandanas are NOT acceptable. If a girl s fringe is long enough to cover her eyebrows it must be tied back from her face this includes side fringes/front layers Hair must be maintained in a healthy manner that is well kept and neat. The College recognises that older students in Years 7-12 may wish to adjust their hairstyles as they mature into young adults. At all times, students in Years 7-12 must have natural looking hair, any shadings must be subtle, and not intrusive. Extremes in hairstyle and colour variation will not be permitted and are not appropriate for complementing the College uniform. The College reserves the right to ask for an immediate return to a less extreme hairstyle as assessed by the Dean of Students. Fad hairstyles are unacceptable Makeup: No makeup for Years 7-9. Girls in Years may wear minimal makeup consisting of light, blended foundation/concealer and light mascara only. No eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick will be permitted. At all times makeup must look natural. This will be at the discretion of the Year/ Stage Coordinator/ Dean of Students Nails: No nail polish No acrylic nails General: Skirt style is not to be altered Skirt/dress length is to be knee length No chewing gum Regulation school socks must be worn Black opaque tights in winter, minimum 40 Denier

7 Shoes: Shoes need to be regularly cleaned and maintained in a good state of repair. The following guidelines should be observed when purchasing shoes: Plain black leather shoes designed for school wear. These are not to be chunky or decorated with coloured stitching, brass eyelets or any patterned etching and not in patent leather. No flat soled/gum soled shoes Soles should not be crepe or heavily rippled, and as a guide should not be no greater than 25mm in thickness so that the shoe remains neat rather than chunky in appearance
