DAY 1: SUNDAY - MAY 17, ARRIVE WARSAW (D) Depart the U.S. - Independent arrivals and independent transfers to Sofitel Victoria. Welcome dinner with special guest JoAnn Falletta, Music Director for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and guest Conductor for the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra and BPO Principal French Horn player Jacek Muzyk. Krokodyl Restaurant Considered one of Warsaw s finest. Korkodyl is unique elegance in classical interior surroundings with a sense of history and a view of the heart of the Old Town. DAY 2: MONDAY - MAY 18, (B, L, D) WARSAW In the Footsteps of Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw Tour in the footsteps of Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw. Our stops will include: Castle s Square, Namiestnikowski Palace, and the Church of Nuns of the Visitations, Chopin Drawing Room where Chopin performed for the first time, the Royal Routes, the Krasinski Palace and finish at the Royal Castle. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. The remainder of the afternoon will be free for additional sightseeing and shopping This evening, we will meet in the hotel to board our motor coach and drive through Lazienki Royal Park complex and see the famous Chopin s Monument. Dinner tonight will be at Belvedere Restaurant. Housed in the historic building of the New Orangery, dinner is by candlelight and rich greenery.

2 DAY 3: TUESDAY - MAY 19, 2015 (B, L) - WARSAW Historic Treasures of Art and Music This morning we will visit the Fryderyk Chopin Museum located in the Ostrogski Castle. The Fryderykk Chopin Museum was established in Today, the museum covers the history and works of Poland's most famous son, Fryderyk Chopin, including original manuscripts and documents written by the composer, photographs and sculptures of him and letters. The forward-thinking museum with a sparkling new interior boasts modern interactive displays and is on the top cultural must-see lists of Poles and visitors alike. Lunch will be at one of Warsaw s charming local restaurants. Following lunch, we will be welcomed into a private home of a renowned Polish art dealer who will introduce us to his exquisite art and antique collection as we tour the magnificent interiors of this historic residence. The tour will conclude with coffee and sweets in the garden. Dinner tonight is independent. Your guide will have recommendations and will assist with reservations. DAY 4: WEDNESDAY - MAY 20, 2015 (B, D) WARSAW-KRAKOW Discovering the beauty of Krakow Morning departure from Warsaw by scenic first class train accommodations to Krakow. Luggage will be transferred to the Stary Hotel in Krakow for you. Hotel check-in-lunch is independent. Walking City Tour. There are three themes that define Krakow, the most visited city in Poland-its royal past, Judaism and culture. This afternoon we will see Krakow s most important sights along the Royal Route to Wawel Castle, home to three dynasties of Poland s monarchs. Its stately halls and exquisite chambers are filled with priceless art, valuable period furniture and rare ancient objects. The collection of monumental 16th century tapestries is matchless. Here we will see the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci Lady with the Ermine. Tonight s welcome dinner is at the Wentzl Restaurant with interiors full of dark woods, beautiful colors and fine linens. This was once the home of the Cellari family, a wealthy Krakow bourgeois. Special guests will be Maestro JoAnn Falletta and BPO Principal French Horn player Jacek Muzyk.

3 DAY 5: THURSDAY - MAY 21, 2015 (B, D) KRAKOW Morning drive to Auschwitz All over the world, Auschwitz has become a symbol of the Holocaust. The preserved, authentic Memorial consists of two parts of the former concentration camps. Our guide will point out the most important remaining camp objects. Prior to dinner we will hear the Royal Chamber Orchestra in St. Adalbert s Church. These ensembles of young musicians are graduates of the Academy of Music in Kraków. They perform in their native city, but also go on tours all over the world. Their performances are a combination of good taste, unlimited music imagination and solid technique. St Adalbert's Church, which dates back to the 10th century, offers intimate atmosphere, with a small Baroque dome unique acoustics, despite the small size of the church. Dinner tonight will be at Restaurant Pod Aniolami, considered one of the top restaurants in Krakow. Pod Aniolami (Under the Angels) is famous for its marinated meats, cooked on an elm wood-fire grill. DAY 6: FRIDAY - MAY 22, 2015 (B,) KRAKOW Wieliczka Salt Mine This morning we have the rare treat (optional) of being welcomed into the rehearsal hall by JoAnn Falletta and the Krakow Philharmonic Independent Lunch Private tour to Wieliczka, famous for being one of the oldest salt mines in Europe. Wieliczka has been in operation for the last 700 years. Our route in the mine leads through galleries, chambers and chapels on three levels. All altar pieces, figures and monuments are carved in salt. The highlight is the richly ornamented Chapel of St Kings. The Wieliczk Salt Mine was placed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in Dinner is independent

5 DAY 7: SATURDAY - MAY 23, 2015 (B, D) KRAKOW Kazimierz - Best preserved Jewish district in Europe and Maestro Falletta conducting the Krakow Philharmonic This morning we will experience a guided tour of the Kazimierz, now a hip, artistic neighborhood of Krakow with many bars and restaurants. It is also a district of impressive historic value. We will visit synagogues, the unique 16th century cemetery and the site from Steven Spielberg s Schindler s List. We ll experience ancient lanes in the heart of Nowy Square. After crossing the Vistula River, our guide will provide historical facts on the Krakow Jewish Ghetto. We then visit Schindler s Factory, now a museum. Lunch is independent 6 pm VIP concert tickets to see Maestro Falletta conducting the Krakow Philharmonic. The exciting program includes: Karlowic, The White Dove Weinberg, Violin Concerto Gershwin, American in Paris Copland, Rodeo Following the concert our elaborate farewell dinner is at Biata Roza Restaurant located within a historical palace complex called Dworek Krakowski. DAY 8: SUNDAY- MAY 24, 2015 (B) DEPART FOR THE UNITED STATES Independent transfers to the airport for your flight back home. 6 VIP BPO POLAND TOUR PRICING Tour Cost-Land Package - Per Person based on Double Occupancy, $4399 (Includes a tax deductible $1000 contribution to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra) Single Supplement add $ Tour price is per person based on a minimum of 15 paying passengers and may be subject to change based on currency exchange rates, or any other elements out of the direct control of The Travel Team. Deposit Requirement: A deposit of $1, per person is required to hold a reservation for this tour. See cancellation penalty below. The deposit deadline is Thurs, Jan. 15, CANCELLATION PENALTIES: If written cancellation occurs prior to Jan. 15, 2015, a $ NON-REFUNDABLE Administrative fee will apply. The undersigned Participant releases, Travel Team and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) from any and all liability resulting from acts or omissions of the suppliers of services, including, but not limited to, loss, damage, delay or injury, or damage to Participant (including death) or Participant's personal property. Nor do, TTT and BPO accept responsibility for losses or delays arising from sickness, quarantine, government restraints, war, acts of terrorism, weather conditions, earthquakes, or acts of God. In no event shall, TTT nor BPO liability exceed the amount received by, TTT from Participant. TTT and BPO have no special knowledge of problems or hazards regarding health or safety in the destinations visited by Participant. Participant agrees to assume full responsibility for his/her safety during this tour and is advised that some destinations visited may involve risks of political instability, terrorism, social unrest, disease, and climatic extremes, as well as geographical and atmospheric extremes such as altitude and/or pollution, earthquakes, etc. Participant assumes all risks of damage or injury in connection with such risks and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless TTT and BPO against any and all claims arising from Participant's travel to such destinations. For additional information regarding hazards in specific destinations, Participant may consult the U.S. State Department and the Center for Disease Control. Dates, schedules, program details, and costs stated by TRAVEL TEAM s itinerary and brochure are given on good faith and based on information available at the time of publication of the brochure and of pricing the tour and are subject to change and revision at any time by TTT and BPO do not guarantee the rates of any suppliers and reserve the right to substitute alternate suppliers if deemed necessary by TTT. TTT and BPO reserve the right to change Participant's itinerary if, in TTT s sole discretion, such change is advisable to protect Participant s safety. No refund shall be due from TTT nor BPO in conjunction with changes in rates or itineraries, substitution of suppliers, or Participant s decision not to complete a tour itinerary. TTT and BPO reserve the right to refuse to accept any Participant, cancel any tour at any time, or request a Participant to withdraw from a tour if, in and TTT's sole discretion, such refusal, cancellation, and/or withdrawal are in the best interest of Participant or other tour Participants. Participants are encouraged not to purchase airline tickets until after receiving a letter stating that they are confirmed on the tour, and neither TTT nor BPO accepts liability for any airline cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable domestic ticket to the tour departure cities and return. Baggage and personal effects are the sole responsibility of the owners at all times. By signing below, Participant acknowledges that s/he has carefully read the schedule of activities for this tour, as well as conditions of application and participation as set forth in the tour brochure and the Terms and Conditions sheet, and recognizes and accepts any risks thereof and the conditions set forth therein, including the cancellation/refund policy. The undersigned also understands and hereby agrees for and on behalf of himself/herself, his/her dependents, heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to abide by the conditions set forth under RESPONSIBILITY, above as well as in the brochure, and the Terms and Conditions Sheet, and to release and hold harmless The Travel Team and BPO and any of their officers, trustees, employees, agents, licensees, or representatives from any and all liability for delays, injuries, or death, or for the loss of or damage to, his/her property, however occurring during any portion of, or in relation to, the study tour referred to in the brochure and in other related documents received by the undersigned, such as Tour Bulletins or letters relating to the program and potential risks. Participant agrees to reimburse TRAVEL TEAM and BPO for any damages they are compelled to pay arising from any claim, demand, action, or cause of action, on behalf of Participant in conjunction with this tour.
