2 District Created and coordinated an efficient K-12 system to order technology throughout district Changed the approval process to order Curriculum Software Membership to Tech Supplies Buying Group o Provides lower prices for ink and toner for all local and networked printers o Recycle Equipment Pick Up o Points Program for New Printers Increased Data Capacity for Student Records and Data (District Control and Super Database) Student Electronic Portfolios Ability through Rediker Presentation Carts with Remotes Region 14 Needs Assessment Technology Need Implemented Year Upgrade processors or order new equipment in offices Network Maintenance Final Site Support & Support Administrator Plus District Control for Database Web Masters (4) Technology Supplies: Paper, toner, maintenance Connectivity and Access to/from Public Local Library s in Bethlehem and Woodbury, CT to Region 14 LMC Increase communication with parents through available electronic resources. 3 Technology Committees 1. District Technology Committee Committee meets once a month to discuss current technology situations, trends, professional development, issues and concerns that need to be addressed for the overall district technology needs. There are members from each school that attend along with the network administrator. 2. District Technology Curriculum Committee Committee meets once a month to focus on the technology curriculum and the implementation of the technology curriculum throughout the district. We have started to create teacher lessons with ideas and rubrics for teachers to use as a resource and added a technology component to the elementary school report cards. The K-5 scope and sequence, 2 nd grade technology assessment and 5 th grade technology assessment will be available for the school year.
