2 j j why do people give to the health first foundation? Health First is a locally operated community asset functioning as a not-for-profit network of hospitals, medical groups, fitness centers, outpatient services, and insurance plans what we call an integrated delivery network that promotes good health rather than profiting from bad health. While every healthcare provider helps sick people get better, Health First is uniquely focused on keeping people healthy. This means we d rather see you at one of our fitness centers than in one of our emergency rooms. To anyone who needs medical expertise, our world-class doctors and nurses deliver outstanding care in a system designed to help everyone in Brevard achieve and maintain better overall health. It s a surprising story and we want to tell it.

3 this is about supporting brevard from the inside out, making our community healthier and financially stronger every day. Yes, the business impact of Health First is monumentally positive our contributions to the local economy are substantial, diverse, and increasing. But it s your contributions that help us go above and beyond in our vital mission of wellness. When you give generously through the Health First Foundation, you prove your commitment to health and wellness for everyone in Brevard. Contributions listed in faraway annual reports are one thing but our donors feel that philanthropy is best when it stays home. A commitment to Health First is a commitment to Brevard s health. And that s why people give. health first foundation. be well with us.
