1 ANNEX 1 GENERAL INFORMATION 1. The Venue The Shotgun thanks to its latest renovations, today has developed to be one of Hungary s most modern and also largest shooting complex. The Shotgun is ideal for training camps and for organizing different kinds of competitions. The shooting range, which is used by the members of the Hungarian National Team and the Olympia Sarlospuszta Sport Club for training hosted three Hungarian Championships since 2004 for the pleasure of the participants including Diana Igaly Hungary s Skeet Shooting Olympic Champion. Thanks to its further enlargement in 2006 Sarlospuszta range became one of the most modern shooting range in Central Europe, and was suitable to hold European Championships, as well. Club house: lavoratory, buffet, guns and ammo shop Places for officials, jury members, for guns and for doping control, will be available close to the range. During the trainings and competition the restaurant of Sarlóspuszta Club Hotel and several bars will operate. 2. CLAY TARGET THROWING MACHINES The venue has 4 combined trap, skeet and double trap ranges, all equipped with Mattarelli machines and with Progetti accustic release system, according to ISSF rules. 3. CLAYTARGETS The targets used for the Training and Qualification rounds are Saggitario 2000 orange and flash orange for the Finals.

2 ANNEX 1 4. RULES AND REGULATIONS The competition will be conducted according to the ESC and ISSF rules and regulations. 5. ARRIVAL IN HUNGARY AND ENTRY VISAS Hungary is a full member of the European Union and is part of the Schengen Region, which means, that EU nationals are able to enter the country with a valid passport or in case of arriving from the Schengen area with a valid ID Card. Furthermore, Hungary has bilateral agreements with several European, but non-eu countries, which agreements allow travels just as easy as from the EU to those nationals coming from these related areas. Participants coming from other countries will be advised to check the matter of visa and ask for the support of the Organising Committee. Due to visa concerns the official airport is planned to be the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport (BUD), where round trip transportation will be arranged by the Organising Committee between the official arrival and departure days of the Championships. The Organising Committee will provide the participants free transportation between the official hotels and the competition venue by buses and minivans. No assistance or transportation will be provided to the participants who are not accommodated at the official hotels. 6. CUSTOM CLEARANCE All shooters, not holding a European Shotgun Certificate will be requested upon arrival at Budapest Liszt Ferenc airport, to present to customs (Red Channel) the completed official shotgun and ammunition form in triplicate, in order to obtain a temporary shotgun import permit. One copy of the completed form must be sent to the Organizing Committee. European Union nationals holding a European Shotgun Certificate will be required to check their shotguns through customs (Red Channel) also and verify the serial numbers of their weapons. All delegations will be escorted through customs at the time of arrival. The gun permits or the European Firearms Passport must be represented to customs at the time of departure

AIRPORT PICK UP An airport pick up service will operate during the official arrival dates and all participating nations will be requested to give the arrival and departure details of their teams on time (completed official arrival and departure form). 8. SHOTGUN CARTRIDGES The custom authorities will allow all participating shooters to import with them all the necessary cartridges that will be used for the competition. Well known imported cartridges (CHEDDITTE, RC, ELLEY, FIOCCHI and others) will be available for sale at the shooting range at approximately per box of STORAGE OF GUNS AND AMMUNITION It is not allowed to take any arms and ammunition out of the shooting range especially not to the hotel. This Hungarian act also has to be followed strictly by nations, that are in the possession of a European Firearms Passport (EFP)! The completeness of the armoury will be checked every evening. The armoury will be opened from the Official Arrival Day till the Official Departure Day. 10. PARTICIPATION - EVENTS- CATEGORIES Events: Categories: - Trap, Double Trap, Skeet - Men, Men Junior, Women, Women Junior Each nation can enter a maximum of three (3) shooters in individual events who may participate as one (1) team in team events and two (2) additional shooters per Olympic event for MQS. The MQS shooters will not be ranked in the official results list and their scores cannot be recognized as World or European Records. Exchange of a shooter competing for individual and/or team results with a MQS shooter is not permitted. A MQS shooter may replace a withdrawn team shooter. The withdrawn shooter may not shoot for MQS. (Rule ) Juniors may participate in the men s and women s competitions, but in one category only (either in the junior s or in the senior s events) at the same championships (place and period) (Rule 5.5.3)

Trap Late Entry fee Transport fee (return trip), per person from the airport to the official hotels FINAL ENTRIES REGISTRATION Final Entries must be forwarded to the ISSF Headquarters by fax ( ) or (entry@issf-sports.info ) before midnight (Munich time) of the 30th day before the official arrival day. The final entries may be made via the ISSF online registration INSCRIPTION, PAYMENT OF ENTRY FEES AND ACCREDITATION Payment of the entry fees, inscription, final entry verification and accreditation will be carried out at the Venue. All payments have to be made in Euro ( ). Unfortunately, credit cards or personal cheques will not be accepted. Hotel payments must be made directly with the hotels. 14. CURRENCY The currency of the Hungary is the Hungary Forint (HUF) and EURO ( ). 15. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION Transport from / to the official hotels / Venue The Organizing Committee will provide for all participants free return transport from the official hotels to the Venue. The official transport arrangements will start to operate on the 14th Jun on a daily basis till the end of the Championship. Before the 14th Jun the participants will be responsible for their own transport. Any participants not accommodated at the official hotels will be responsible for their own means of transport.

5 ANNEX 1 Transport from / to the Airport / official hotels A fee of per person will be charged for the transport (return trip) of the delegations from Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport or to the official hotels. 16. JURY OF APPEAL, JURY, RANGE REFEREES A Jury and a Jury of Appeal that will be designated by the ESC will supervise the competition. Qualified Range Referees holding a valid official ISSF Shotgun Referee license will officiate at the competition. 17. DOPING CONTROL The Organizing Committee with the co-operation of the Hungarian National Anti- Doping Agency will conduct doping control according to the ISSF Anti-doping rules and regulations under the supervision of the ESC doping control officer. Team officials and shooters are reminded to give information about medication which is taken before the competition. 18. ACCOMMODATION AND HOTEL RESERVATIONS The delegations will be accommodated in selected three, four and five star hotels in Sarlóspuszta located at less than a fifty-minute drive from the Venue, at very reasonable prices. All hotel reservations will be made through the Organizing Committee. Payments for accommodation must be made directly with the hotels. 19. OPENING, CLOSING AND AWWARDING CEREMONIES The Championship will be inaugurated with an Opening Ceremony which will take place on the 17th Jun, at Dabas City. The Closing Ceremony will take place on the last day of the competition which is the 26th Jun. The awarding ceremonies will take place after the completion of each event. All winners must present themselves in official uniform. All participating nations are kindly requested to bring with them at the Championship, their national flag (at least 1.5X1.0 meters) and national anthem (CD).

6 ANNEX MEDIA RELATIONS All media representatives must submit an accreditation form to the Organizing Committee, before attending the Championship. The Media office, at the Venue, will be equipped with all the necessary internet, telephone and fax connections. Sufficient electrical outlets for personal laptops will be provided also. 21. INDUSTRY AND EXHIBITION ON THE VENUE Limited service providing industry and exhibition of shooting accessories will be available on the Venue. Companies wishing to exhibit their products at the Venue must contact the Organizing Committee directly for further details. 22.
