1 Dear nanbudo martial art sportists, International nanbudo federation and Committee national de nanbudo Maroc, hereby invite you to join us at the 1 st INF World cup that will take place in Casablanca, May 5 th to 8 th The full program will consist of International nanbudo seminar for referees, coaches and competitors and the World cup individual competitions for younger cadettes, cadettes, juniors and seniors in kata, kata open, self defence and ju randori combat (see the Categories attached to this invitation). Organizations and Associations from all over the world are welcome to fill the Entry form (attached to this invitation), and send it by to the organizers (inf@nanbudosport.com and nanbudomorocco@gmail.com ) no later than April 10 th COMPETITION RULES: Seminars and the competition are open to all nanbudo and other martial art sportists who want to participate. All styles of kata and self defence demonstrations are welcome, and the number of competitors per nation is not limited. Kata Kata rounds will be run depending on the number of competitors first round for example 22 competitors out of which 16 go to the next round, out of which best 8 go in the next round and then 4 best into the finals. Marks are summed up in the rounds up to the finals. Finals are a separate competition and marks are not carried to the finals. Competitor cannot repeat the same kata twice in a row (meaning he/she must always change kata in the next round so at least has to have 2 katas on his/her repertoire) except in young cadettes in which category yellow belts are allowed to enter and they can repeat one kata all the time. In the case of equal results in a round, one more kata will be performed. If the result will be equal again, the winner will be announced by flag decision.

2 Self defence Self defence will be marked the same way as kata (5 judges, the highest and the lowest mark will be deducted and the average mark calculated). Self defence performance can last maximum 3 minutes. Ju randori combat Ju randori combats will be executed in a traditional form, with free moving of the competitors, respecting mae (safe distance between the competitors and correct but strong attacks), according to the list of allowed techniques of counter attacks which you are receiving in attachment to this invitation. The exception for this list is the category of younger cadettes where techniques are limited to randori techniques for orange belt 4 kyu (ichino, gyaku ichino, irimino, kaiten ichino, nino)), because it is allowed for lower belts to take part in this category. For the categories above 14 years (cadettes, juniors and seniors) competitors must hold at least 4 kyu, in case they are familiar (and able to assist), within all the techniques from the attached list of techniques for ju randori. Categories up to 12 competitors will be run through the groups, and categories with more competitors will be run by cup system. PLACE: The competition will take place within one of these three facilities: 1. Complex Mohamed V 2. Ouled Ziane Complex 3. Sidi Mohamed Complex Organizing committee is finalizing its decision of the place for the event, and will inform all the participants about the place for the World cup - in time.
