2 Port Gdynia The Port of Gdynia is an universal modern port specializing in handling general cargo, mainly unitized cargo transported in containers and in a ro-ro system, based on the well-developed network of multimodal connections including hinterland, regular Short Sea Shipping Lines as well as ferry connections (ferry terminal). There are also - equipped with modern cargo handling equipment bulk terminals. Statutory obligations and scope of activities of the Port of Gdynia Authority SA management of all land and port infrastructure located within the administrative jurisdiction of the port, forecasting, programming and port development planning, construction, reconstruction, maintenance and modernization of port infrastructure, acquisition of land for port development purposes, provision of services related to the use of port infrastructure, charging port dues, ship waste collection and management.
