1 PLATINUM PROGRAMME PROPOSALS FOR SPRING 2014 Fryderyk Anniversary Gala 24 April 2014, Thursday, 7.00 p.m. Sala Kongresowa, Warsaw Ticket price: PLN 399 (highest category seats) The Fryderyk awards are undoubtedly the most prestigious awards to be presented by the Phonographic Academy which represents the Polish world of music. The awards are recognised internationally and the gala ceremony is one of the most important artistic events which promote Polish culture and is a great celebration for Polish music. During this year s gala ceremony fourteen statuettes will be presented in ten categories as well as three Gold Fryderyk awards. Also a special concert will take place. As every year a live broadcast of the event on TVP 2 channel is planned. For the first time the anniversary gala will be open to the broader public. The audience will have the opportunity to sit next to the most famous Polish artists and authors and to see the most popular performers appearing live on stage.

2 DON QUIXOTE PLATINUM PROGRAMME PROPOSALS FOR SPRING 2014 The famous knight in ballet Photo AP Images/EastNews 30 May 2014, Friday, 7.00 p.m. Teatr Wielki Opera Narodowa, Warsaw Ticket price: PLN 120 (highest category seats) Marius Petipa an outstanding French 19th century choreographer and ballet dancer, author of more than 50 ballets which remain in the core repertoires of the world s leading ballet ensembles. And Don Quixote the work of Miguel Cervantes about the famous knight-errant in search of his lady love Dulcinea del Toboso which, according to Milan Kundera, was the starting point for The Art of the Novel a genre that symptomized a new mindset about the world. The first-ever performance of Petipa s ballet with the music score by the composer Ludwig Minkus took place in 1869 in Moscow. Its Polish premiere was in Today, 50 years after this event, Don Quixote by Marius Petipa and Ludwig Minkus is back in Warsaw, where the Polish National Ballet will resurrect the tale of the Knight with a Sorrowful Countenance with the art of dancing.

3 CHILDREN S DAY IN THE THEATRE PLATINUM PROGRAMME PROPOSALS FOR SPRING 2014 The Most Beautiful Ballet Fables with a ball for the youngest Photo Digital/EastNews 31 May 2014, Saturday, a.m. Teatr Palladium, Warsaw Ticket price: PLN 51 The show transports the audience to a dancing and colourful world of magic and ballet, where they will have the opportunity to meet their favourite characters from books, films and stories. Appearance has been confirmed i.a. by characters from Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Little Riding Red Hood and many others. Enthralling music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Sergei Prokofiev as well as the beautiful costumes will make the audience feel as if they were actually in the fable itself. After the show a great surprise will be in store the opportunity to encounter i.a. Princess Aurora and to get autographs from the audience s favourite characters. Maybe someone from those present will want to dance him or herself and ask the fairy tale characters how to start an adventure with ballet?

4 AEROSMITH PLATINUM PROGRAMME PROPOSALS FOR SPRING 2014 The legendary band is back in Poland after 20 years Photo Sony Music 12 June 2014, Thursday, 5.30 p.m. Atlas Arena, Łódź Ticket price: PLN 378 (highest category seats) Over 150 million albums sold, four Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, Billboard Awards, twelve MTV Video Music Awards, included in the elite Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Aerosmith is an American music legend with their own unique style a mixture of rock and blues. They will be back in Poland after 20 years in June they will give a single concert in the Łódź Atlas Arena. Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer will perform their greatest hits, such as Crazy, I Don t Wanna Miss a Thing or Dream on. The Aerosmith concert will be organised as part of the third edition of Impact Festival, which will take place in Łódź for the first time.

5 PLATINUM PROGRAMME PROPOSALS FOR SPRING 2014 TORI AMOS Photo Universal Music Polska 12 June 2014, Thursday, 6.00 p.m. Sala Kongresowa, Warsaw A concert promoting the new album of an exceptional artist Tori Amos is one of the most talented artists, composers and singers of the last 20 years. Since her debut album in 1992, when she launched her unique style of songwriting, Tori Amos has continued her top class creative activity. She announced the release of the Unrepentant Geraldines album for the spring of The album will be supported by a world concert tour. The tour will include the artist s visit in Poland in June. Ticket price: PLN 278 (highest category seats) Unrepentant Geraldines is another step in Tori Amos s artistic evolution, a return to the core of the artist s identity, her contemporary music with elements of exquisite classical projects inspired by her music from the last four years. We are bound to feel the seasonality of Midwinter Graces with the stream of the classic Night of Hunters as well as the aroma of Gold Dust.
