3 Aim of the course The ESSO Course on Pancreatic NeuroEndocrine Tumours (PNETs) aims to give an overview on diagnosis and treatment of this condition to young as well as to more senior surgeons who want to develop a specific knowledge on this topic. The management of PNETs requires a proper multidisciplinary approach with more therapeutic options available than for pancreatic cancer. In this course we will provide adequate evidence-based information but will also discuss few controversial topics. Dedicated case based discussions will complement the programme.
