4 VENUE Pannonia Golf & Country Club : Alcsútdoboz H 8087 Máriavölgy, Hungary : info@golfpannonia.hu GPS: 47 43'04" N, 18 62'24" E : The golf club is situated approximately minutes drive away from the centre of Budapest. The Championship golf course is situated in beautiful surroundings bounded on one side by the Etyek wine region and on the other side by Alcsútdoboz, Máriavölgy. The Pannonia Golf & Country Club with its 18 holes of Championship golf was designed by the famous Austrian course designer Hans G. Erhardt. The golf course makes its way through a valley and with its well bunkered and sculptured fairways provides a great golfing experience. Lakes come into play on 8 holes and with its large undulating greens some challenging pin placements can be found. With its 6 different teeing areas it provides a true, fair test of golf for beginners and professionals alike. The natural environment, beauty and manicured course inspire you to hit great golf shots. The course was opened in 1996 and since its opening it has staged many international and national events including European Golf Association (EGA) sanctioned events (e.g. in the last three years International European Seniors Championship -2015, the Olympic Hopes Trophy, the European Boys Team Championship -2014, European Senior Men s Team Championship -2013). It provides enjoyment for all golfers from the beginner to the more experienced player. The Club can be easily approached from the M1 highway (Vienna to Budapest, or Budapest to Vienna), exit Bicske (39 km), towards Tatabánya (highroad Nr. 1). After 2,3 km take a left turn to road 811 (towards Székesfehérvár). Follow the road for the next 7,5 km, then take a left turn to Béke street in the centre of Alcsútdoboz. Pannonia Golf & Country Club is situated to the right, after a 2 km drive. From Vienna (181 km): Take highway A4/E60 towards Hegyeshalom, cross the former border, drive further on M1/E75, take exit Bicske (at 39 sign). After 2,3 km take a left turn to road 811. Follow the road for the next 7,5 km, then take a left turn to Béke street in the centre of Alcsútdoboz. Pannonia Golf & Country Club is situated to the right, after a 2 km drive. From Bratislava (138 km): Take highway E65 towards Budapest cross the former border at Hegyeshalom, continue on highway M1/E75, take exit Bicske (at 39 sign). After 2,3 km take a left turn to road 811. Follow the road for the next 7,5 km, then take a left turn to Béke street in the centre of Alcsútdoboz. From Zagreb, Ljubljana (507 km): Take highway through Ljubljana Maribor Nagykanizsa (former border), in Hungary take highway M7 towards Siófok then to Budapest, from Budapest take highway M1 towards Győr. Leave the highway at exit Bicske (at 39 sign), turn right at the next intersection. After 2,3 km take a left turn to road 811(towards Székesfehérvár). Participants and accompanying officials are scheduled to arrive on Monday, 25 th July and on Tuesday, 26 th July, and leave on Sunday, 31 st July. Transfer from Liszt Ferenc International Airport (Terminal 2A or 2B) will be organized accordingly. It is kindly requested that the Travel details form is duly filled and returned to the HGF before Friday, 10 th June 2016 if you wish to use the shuttle service. 6

9 TEAM INFORMATION All entries must be done online on the EGA website: ENTRIES Entry Fee: 500 CHF to be paid online upon registration. It will cover practice balls, team photographs, yardage books, trolleys and social events (4 players and a captain). PRIZES Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the teams placed respectively 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd. CATERING Buffet breakfast will be served for early birds at the official hotel from 6:00 and at the club house from 7:00 (à la carte). A la carte lunch is available in the Golf Club s restaurant from 11:30. Dinner will be available at the hotel from 18:00 to 21:30. DRESS CODE A reasonable standard of golf clothes (no jeans) is required at all times on the course and in the clubhouse. Only soft spikes are permitted on the course. 8

10 PRACTICE Official practice day: Tuesday 26 th July The starting times for the practice round will be based on the EGA official draw for practice rounds and will be available upon arrival: One ball only may be played during practice rounds, with the following exceptions: a) If a player misses the green with his shot to the green, he may play one additional shot. b) Where the Rules of Golf apply (e.g. provisional ball). c) A player may practice putting, chipping or bunker play, provided play is not unduly delayed. Failure to respect this Practice Rounds regulations will result in the discontinuance of the practice round. Practice balls cannot be used on the championship course. Transportation: Players must not ride on any form of transportation during any part of an official practice round unless authorised by the Committee. Golf bag storage will be available in the club house. GOLF BAG STORAGE GOLF SHOP Golf shop with a limited range of golf equipment and clothing is located in the clubhouse. INFORMATION CENTRE AND REGISTRATION The information centre is located at the reception in the club house of the Pannonia Golf & Country Club: Registration / Starting times / Results / General information. All teams have to register no later than 12:00 on Tuesday 26 th July. Locker-rooms are located in the club house. LOCKER-ROOM MEDICAL CERTIFICATE According to Hungarian law a Medical Certificate is required for all players entering an International Championship or National Competition in Hungary. Each player has to return the enclosed Medical Certificate Form duly completed by a Doctor to the Hungarian Golf Federation by fax or before Friday, 22 nd July

15 MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FORM (Please fill in with capital letters) According to Hungarian law, a Medical Certificate is required for all players entering an International Championship or National Competition in Hungary including Club competitions. We herewith draw your attention to this important rule included in the conditions of play. This is to be fulfilled in all sports and by all competition organizers. Therefore, the Hungarian Golf Federation must receive the medical certificates duly filled in by a doctor even if the players are insured when they travel abroad and if a medical assistance covers all expenses. Considering that some countries do not have such regulation and do not issue such certificates, a medical certificate form is prepared in advance that you will find hereunder.
