NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT) Sealed offers are invited from the Manufacturer/ authorized dealers for Supply and installation of 12 V 100 AH SMF batteries under buy back of 25 Nos., of old SMF batteries with 2 years warranty at STPI- Pune under SINGLE BID SYSTEM of preferred brand (Rocket /Exide/Quanta/Amaron) and fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned elsewhere in the tender document for the subject tender Supply and installation of 12 V 100 AH SMF batteries under buy back of 25 Nos., of old SMF batteries with 2 years warranty at STPI- Pune, as per our requirement detailed in Scope of Work & terms and conditions. 4 1. LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED The signed copies of following documents should be submitted as part of the bid which may be verified with original: a. Authorisation certificate from OEM in case of authorised dealer. b. Income Tax PAN Certificate copy. c. VAT/ Service Tax Registration certificate copy. & d. Acceptances of tender document by attesting the entire tender document. 1. Special Note a. Bids can only be submitted before the last date and time as per the date and time mentioned in the tender. b. Bidders are advised in their own interest to ensure that bids are submitted by dropping in tender box well before the closing date and time of bid. c. The bidder has to keep track of any changes by viewing the Addendum/Corrigendum issued by the Tender Inviting Authority on time-totime in the STPI,Pune website & The Company calling for tenders shall not be responsible for any claims/problems arising out of this. 2. Submission of Tender Documents a. The tenderers are requested to carefully study all the tender documents and tender conditions before quoting their rates. b. The tender must be strictly in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications laid out in the tender. c. Any terms and conditions given by the tenderer in their offers will not be binding on STPI 3. 5 at STPI- Pune, Tender no, due date & time and sealed and addressed to The Director, Software Technology Parks of India, P-1, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Phase 1, Hinjiwadi, Pune Offer sent through fax will not be accepted. 2. Overwriting and corrections should be attested properly. The bid should be complete in all respects and should be duly signed. Incomplete and unsigned bids will not be considered at all. 3. All relevant technical literature pertain to items quoted with full specifications, information about the products quoted, including brochures if any should accompany with the quotation. 4. Quotation should be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of tender opening and the period of delivery of Supply and installation of 12 V 100 AH SMF batteries under buy back of 25 Nos., of old SMF batteries with 2 years warranty at STPI- Pune has to be within three Weeks from the date of placing purchase order. 5. The warranty period for the Supply and installation of 12 V 100 AH SMF batteries under buy back of 25 Nos., of old SMF batteries with 2 years warranty at STPI- Pune will be two year, warranty shall commence from the date of installation and acceptance of the complete item supplied under the Purchase Order / Contract. 6. Please specify the Make/Brand and Name of the Manufacturer with address, in which rates are quoted. 7. The Compliance Statement of technical specification above, have to be completed and has to be submitted in the technical bids for technical comparison. 8. No advance payment will be made. Payment shall be made within 30 days from the date of receipt, acceptance and satisfactory installation of item. The 100 % payment will be made on submission of 10 % performances bank guarantee of invoice value, the validity of performances bank guarantee will be warranty period plus 60 days. OR 90 % payment will be made on submission of invoice within 30 days from the date of complete satisfactory installation and the balance 10 % payment will be made after completion of warranty period plus 60 days. 9. The EMD of successful bidder will be refunded after submission of performances bank guarantee and the EMD of unsuccessful bidder will be return after placing the order on the lowest bidder. 10. Bidders shall note that STPI, Pune will not entertain any correspondence or queries on the status of the offers received against this Tender Invitation. 11. STPI, Pune does not bind to accept the lowest quotation and reserves the right, to reject or partly accept any or all the quotations received without assigning any reason. Page..5/7

6 12. Quotation received after the due date and time shall be summarily rejected. 13. The STPI-Pune reserve the right to rejects any or all tender without assigning any reasons and the decision of the STPI-Pune shall be final and bidding. 14. BIDDER S ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA a. Bidder shall be either an Original Equipment Manufacturer of the SMF Batteries or an authorized dealer for OEM product. b. The bidder should have sales/service centre in Pune. The registered address proof may be submitted along with the bid. 15. The rates to be quoted must be in Indian Rupees. 18. The last date of receipt of the tender is on 5 th May, 2016 at 1300 Hrs. The same will be opened on the same day at 1500 Hrs in presence of the bidders if any. 19. The bid shall contain no interlineations, erasures or overwriting except as necessary to correct errors made by the bidder in which case such correction shall be signed by the person or person signing the bid. 20.
