4 4 Case Studies: Jatheon has a proven track record of migrating organizations from other well known archiving vendors including: Barracuda Symantec EMC Arcmail In the following case study we will look at Manitex International and their migration from Barracuda to Jatheon s PnC archiving solution. What to do when you lose all of your Organization: Manitex International, Inc. Migrated from: Barracuda In 2011, Manitex International, Inc. an international engineered lifting equipment manufacturer had a problem. Like any large organization they had implemented an archiving system in order to be compliant. That compliance was put at risk when their archiving system failed. Losing All Your Data Charles Carden described the situation, We had some problems with the device, we couldn t log on to it, couldn t do anything with it. So they asked us to send it in to them for repair. As anyone who works with technology will understand, these issues do occur. Manitex real problem came from what happened next. The first thing they did when we put it in for repair is they deleted all the s that were on the system.
