KEY FINDINGS The state of the managed infrastructure and cloud market remains robust: It will grow more than 20% for the next several years to encompass more than US$60bn in spending. The overall hosted infrastructure industry will grow to $130bn by 2019, making it one of the largest segments of the IT industry. New business continues to flow from enterprise IT. Hosted private cloud and hybrid cloud are the major demands from enterprises, which expect to spend up to 50% of their cloud budget on these types of services. Every managed infrastructure provider should be preparing to answer those demands. A majority of enterprise customers configure their cloud resources for interoperability. Long-term hosting/cloud consumers (4+ years) will migrate up to 75% of application workloads to hosted environments.
