Fountaine Pajot 44 Orana Orana is the flagship yacht of the Oman Sail charter fleet and offers luxury cruising at its best. A variety of bareboat and skippered day, overnight and weeklong charters for up to 12 guests are available on this magnificent catamaran, which is perfectly stable in all sea conditions. She sails beautifully in the lighter winds common in Oman or cruises comfortably at speed when powered by her twin engines. Orana s stylish interior is fully air-conditioned and features a modern galley and saloon with sweeping 360-degree panoramic views. Opening off the saloon is a protected seating area perfect for meals at anchor or relaxing in the shade, which in turn leads to a cushioned sunbathing deck. Four luxuriously appointed cabins, each with a double bed and complete with en suite shower and heads ensure extended stays aboard are sheer pleasure. Wi-Fi and an ipad are among the cutting edge features of cruising aboard Orana. She is also equipped with snorkeling and basic fishing equipment, a popular new inflatable stand up paddle board and a RIB for ferrying guests to shore, remote beaches and dive sites. The fully- battened mainsail can be easily hoisted or reefed with power winches while all controls lead back to the helming station to make short-handed sailing easy and safe. Dragonfly 28 Balarion The Dragonfly 28 foot Balarion is the cruising world s answer to high performance sailing. Capable of top speeds of over 20 knots this versatile little yacht is equally suited to fast and exhilarating day sailing as it is for more leisurely cruising and overnight trips. Its relatively small size intensifies the feeling of speed and close connection to the wind and water, yet it offers all the cruising luxuries of a shower, toilet, shade and option of cooking aboard. A lifting dagger board and rudder allow close inshore sailing to beaches and swimming and snorkeling in shallow water straight from the boat, without the need for a tender. The variety of sails are perfect for the prevailing light afternoon breezes of Muscat, while its acceleration in occasional stronger winds will delight even the most experienced sailors.
