2 CONDITIONS FOR RECRUITMENT DIRECTEURS D'ETUDES AND DIRECTEURS D ETUDES CUMULANTS (PROFESSORS) OF THE ECOLE PRATIQUE DES HAUTES ETUDES WILL BE RECRUITED BY COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION THAT IS OPEN TO: - all scientists meeting the statutory requirements for Directeurs D Etudes of the EPHE (article 11 of decree n , September 28, 1989) MAÎTRES DE CONFÉRENCES (UNIVERSITY LECTURERS) OF THE ECOLE PRATIQUE DES HAUTES ETUDES WILL BE RECRUITED BY COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION THAT IS OPEN TO: - holders of a doctorate or equivalent qualification. The equivalence of foreign academic qualifications will be assessed as stated in article 24 of decree , September 28, 1989, by a scientific commission.

3 RECRUITMENT OF DIRECTEURS D ETUDES, DIRECTEURS D ETUDES CUMULANTS (PROFESSORS) AND MAÎTRES DE CONFÉRENCES (LECTURERS) AT EPHE APPLICATION CANDIDATES FOR DIRECTEURS D ETUDES OR DIRECTEURS D ETUDES CUMULANTS (PROFESSORS) : Applications should be submitted electronically and should contain the following pdf files. FILE 1 : will include documents 1 to 3, all in one single pdf file. 1. Declaration of candidature dated and signed. This document should also be sent by post. 2. Copy of both sides of the identity card (or passport) 3. Copies of the required diplomas (PhD, HDR or equivalent foreign qualifications) FILE 2 : will include document 4, which should be written in French. 4. «Fiche de synthèse» form (summary form) FILE 4 : will include documents 5 to 7, which should be written in English, and document 8, which should be written in English AND in French. 5. Curriculum vitae 6. Compendium of past achievements and diplomas (less than 20 pages), and the complete list of publications ( Titres et Travaux ) 7. Scientific and teaching project (less than 10 pages) 8.
