When legendary hotelier César Ritz tasted his friend s creation, he exclaimed: This grand liqueur needs a grand name. And so, César Ritz suggested that his friend rename his new liqueur Grand Marnier to give it a name worthy of its opulence. Our Signature cake was created by Yusuke Aioki, Junior pastry chef at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto, by combining the legendary flavor of Grand Marnier and rich Valrhona chocolate. It was selected out of 23 different cakes that were entered into a competition which called for the combination of those two ingredients*. The Cake can be ordered and delivered in a Signature box for more convenience.
