1 (Official Gazette 50/2002 and 38/2005) - unofficial amended text - Pursuant to Article 39 paragraph 2 item i) of the Croatian National Bank Act (Official Gazette 36/2001) and Article 44 paragraph 1 item 7 of the National Payment System Act (Official Gazette 117/2001), the Governor of the Croatian National Bank hereby enacts the following DECISION on the Work Schedule for Settlement/Clearing through the Interbank Payment Systems Article 1 Payment transactions shall be settled through the Croatian Large Value Payment System or cleared through the National Clearing System within a settlement/clearing day. The settlement/clearing day referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be any business day in a week from Monday to Friday. Article 2 A settlement day within the Croatian Large Value Payment System shall start at 7.30 o'clock and end at o'clock on the current business day. During a settlement day, payment transactions shall be settled in accordance with the Daily Work Schedule for Settlements through the CLVPS, given in Annex 1 that shall be a constituent part of this Decision. Article 3 A clearing day within the National Clearing System shall start at o'clock on the previous business day and end at o'clock on the current business day. During a clearing day, payment transactions shall be cleared in accordance with the Daily Work Schedule for Clearing through the NCS, given in Annex 2 that shall be a constituent part of this Decision. Article 4 As of the day of its entering into force, this Decision shall supersede the Decision on the Work Schedule for Settlement/Clearing through the Interbank Payment Systems (Official Gazette 14/02). 1

3 Annex 1 DAILY WORK SCHEDULE FOR SETTLEMENT THROUGH THE CLVPS O7: Beginning of operation Opening CLVPS Execution of previously issued payment orders as of the current settlement day The CNB executes payment transactions for the purpose of refunding overnight deposits of banks 07:30-17:30 Regular operation Banks: Execute payment transactions for the purpose of meeting their obligations to the CNB: - Lombard loan repayment - Intraday loan repayment - Repayment of other liabilities towards the CNB - Reserve requirement allocation after calculation. Execute payment transactions for the purpose of withdrawing cash in cash centres Execute other payment transactions in the relationship with the CNB Execute payment transactions for the purpose of over-night loan repayments Execute payment transactions related to securities trading to credit the transfer account for securities settlement in the CLVPS Execute other interbank payment transactions. CNB: Executes payment transactions for the purpose of returning reserve requirements after calculation Executes other payment transactions within the implementation of monetary policy measures Executes payment transactions for the purpose of transferring funds from a bank's cash account with the CNB to the bank's settlement account Executes payment transactions related to securities trading to credit the transfer account for securities trading in the CLVPS Executes other interbank payment transactions. CDA: Executes payment transactions related to securities trading to debit the transfer account for securities trading in the CLVPS 7:30-17:30 Approval of intraday loans - setting the limits on the settlement accounts CNB sets the limit on a bank's settlement account for the purpose of approving an intraday loan 07:45-08:30 11:30-12:30 Change of the limits in the NCS Banks execute payment transactions for the purpose of increasing the limits in the NCS - transfer funds to credit the CNB's settlement account. 3
