2 INVITATION A very warm welcome from EFP; The European Federation of Periodontology and the Turkish Society of Periodontology are delighted to invite you to the 2nd Perio Master Clinic meeting. Due to the recent events in Turkey, the core Executive Committee and the Turkish Society of Periodontology have decided to move the location of the Perio Master Clinic 2017 from Istanbul to Malta s Mediterranean Conference Centre. The aim of Perio Master Clinic meetings is to bring together clinicians with the desire to improve their skills in clinical practice to the highest levels of excellence. The faculty has been selected from the leading experts and clinicians on peri-implant diseases. Korkud Demirel Congress Chairman Since implants became a major part of our practices, the incidence of peri-implant diseases is also on the rise, and in this unique setting you will have the chance to listen to and discuss with world renowned master clinicians on diagnosis, prevention and treatment of peri-implant diseases. This limited attendance meeting will focus on peri-implant diseases, starting from the aetiology, down to the treatment modalities. 1

Away from the cluttered environment of high-rise meeting places and far from the din of endless traffic jams, the Mediterranean Conference Centre has all the benefits of ultra modern technology set in an oasis of historical tranquillity. The impressive and imposing Republic Hall with its large area of 728 square metres, is tastefully roofed over and has created Malta s largest Auditorium. With a seating capacity of 1,400, this elegant theatre style hall is the largest in the Conference Centre. It is ideal for large-scale meetings or conferences and is equipped with theatre lighting and sound systems and audio/visual facilities. 2
