2 A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE The City Football Performance Program is a unique opportunity for young players to live and train like young Manchester City professionals. This intensive, hugely rewarding 6-day residential program is designed for year old boys and girls who play regularly for a club or school, and are looking to further their development. Training at the state-of-the-art City Football Academy, home of Manchester City, players will enjoy practical training sessions, workshops and tests, delivered by City Football coaches and staff, that will provide an insight into the development of talent and improving performance. Players will be given the opportunity to experience how players are trained, managed and nurtured to become top football players able to compete at a professional level.

3 HOW IT WORKS... Focusing on key subjects within Human Performance and Football Performance, players will gain an understanding of training and playing at the highest level, and will get the opportunity to experience life at the City Football Academy, home to Manchester City s Men s and Women s First Teams, EDS Team and Academy. Following four days of training at Denstone College, a private boarding school with excellent football facilities, the program will culminate with two days of intensive football activity at Manchester City s state-of-the-art training facility. The program has been designed to offer players a practical understanding of how the Club s philosophy, methodology and player management practices promote improved performance, resulting in a truly authentic City experience. Through testing, analysis and self-profiling, players will gain an insight into their current level of performance and how to fulfil their potential with a personal development plan.

7 Manchester City Football Academy Denstone College Birmingham London THE CITY FOOTBALL ACADEMY The City Football Academy, opened in December 2014, was designed and created to provide players with the best possible environment in which to train and play, and is home to Manchester City s Men s and Women s First Teams, EDS Team and Academy. Two thirds of the 16.5 pitches on site are dedicated to youth development, supported by high quality coaching and education facilities, as well as medical and sports science services. A truly inspirational and authentic environment in which to train and play. You will explore the dressing room, press room, the Players Lounge, and warm-up room before heading into the tunnel to walk pitch side to experience the panoramic views of this magnificent stadium.
