1 MARRIAGE TESTIMONY Dear Friends I am very glad to share with you my testimony. By the grace of God I am married to Victoria and all my prayers have been answered. The wonderful thing is our Marriage has been recorded as the 100 th marriage in the NEW LIFE ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH (HYDERABAD) History. I was asking Lord Jesus Christ about my marriage with some conditions & my Lord has been gracious enough to grant me a girl with all the qualities that I had asked for. Incidentally Victoria also had done the same thing. She was a resident of New Delhi and had worked for Thomas Cook. She is the youngest daughter of Rev.Vijaya Babu R. THE SITUATIONS FORCED: Since my teenage I saw 2 girls committing suicide because of failure to find a perfect match. They were very close to me, more like my own sisters. One girl had attempted suicide because she did not like many coming and rejecting the proposal after seeing her. Another young man who remained as a bachelor because the elders of his family did not approve the girl of his choice. The girl is now married to another man. I have seen many such young couples who are not happy with their family lives & they regret about their choices after marriage; some even adjust or compromise to marriages. Over all I ve seen couples who are not happy with their marriages. Seeing all this I started praying and attending marriage counseling sessions so that I could find the perfect will of God and not regret about my marriage. MY INITIATIVE: The above situations put in me a burden to pray and show all the young people how to find their life partners, especially to seek God and find His perfect will in their lives and also prove that God will listen and answer to every prayer which comes from a sincere heart because He loves us so much.

2 So I started praying for my marriage 2 years before I could get married. When I was 14 I read a book called the The Fourth Dimension - Written by the Pastor of the world s largest church in Korea, Pastor Paul Yangchow. There he talks about being specific when we ask God for some thing even a life partner. I started to apply the same principle in my life for my life partner. THESE ARE THE THINGS THAT I PUT FORTH BEFORE GOD SINCE 2 YEARS OF MY PRAYER. (Before marriage) 1) She should be prayerful 2) She should love God more than any thing else in this world and be dependant on Him 3) She should come from a God fearing family 4) Have a desire to work for the Lord. 5) Fair and beautiful 6) Should be talented 7) Loving, caring & understanding 8) She should be a blessing for me 9) Wise 10) Well qualified THESE WERE VICTORIA S CONDITIONS FOR A GUY SINCE 2 YEARS OF HER PRAYER. (Before marriage) 1) The guy should be from a God fearing family 2) He should love God 3) Should be from Hyderabad or abroad!! 4) Should not ask dowry (gifts from her or her parents) 5) The first person who ever comes to see her would be her husband. 6) Also the first guy should be handsome enough that she should not reject him 7) He should be her spiritual teacher 8) He should be caring, understanding & loving 9) He should be prayerful 10) He should be able to live in a joint family. 11) He should love Jesus more than anything in this world. THE WORD CONFIRMATION FROM GOD: When I was praying for the confirmation about Victoria God gave me a promise from Proverbs Chapter 31: 10 to 31 (given by a Preacher when she had prayed for my marriage.) What Men of God told about my wife since the two years of my prayer before marriage, when I asked them to pray for my marriage after they prayed about my marriage?

3 1) Alphabet A will be in her name 2) God will bless you abundantly after your marriage 3) She is very prayerful 4) She is praying since 1 ½ years for her marriage (This was told six months before I could complete 2 years of my prayers for my marriage) 5) She loves God a lot (more than any thing in this world) 6) She is loving and caring 7) She is a Pastor s daughter (a man of God told in December 2003) 8) Her faith moves mountains What marriage counseling told: (Over all summary) 1) Situations and circumstances are falling into place. 2) The peace of God will be filled around you 3) A moral peace without any troubles in your love 4) Friends Relatives and other men of God approving you How the will of God has been fulfilled: Almost 67 matches came, out of which I went to meet 24 girls, remaining by photo and found no peace and also these girls were not matching to my conditions. The 68 th girl I saw almost matched my conditions. She is God fearing, very rich only daughter. But I did not feel any peace in my heart. Halfheartedly accepted her due to some reasons. On January 26 th we went to her house for a second time to finalize & planned for an engagement on Sunday Feb.2004 On 26 th January after coming from their place, I could not stop my self. I cried out to God loudly about his perfect will. I am not able to find your peace in this case. The situation is not in my hand. If this is the girl you are going to give me, please give peace in my heart or let the things go away from me. Please take the situation in your control. Even if I go for engagement I still believe you can do a miracle in the last moment also (like God saved Isaac at mount Morea). If you want to give me my heart s desire, you will really do it. The answer for my prayers: On 26 th night I shed tears before the alter of God, 27 th afternoon one lady by name Amrutha called my mother for the alliance of her sister s daughter. She came from Bangalore and was searching for a Guy from Hyderabad for her sister s daughter who was settled in Hyderabad. When she conveyed the details, my mother could not accept because she was not matching to my conditions and about to keep the phone. Then Sis.Amrutha had raised one more question that How do you want the girl to be. This question made the difference, then my mother told her about my conditions and in this chat she got to know our family

4 background also. The 2 minutes conversation continued till 60 minutes. Then she replied If you don t mind can I give you a proposal? I am from New Delhi, our pastor has two daughters, the first one got engaged in this month (Jan 2004), I am not sure whether they will accept or not, they are planning for her marriage next year but I will try once. She exactly suites your son s conditions (This match is 69 th ) she is VICTORIA. My mother was impressed and told me about the 68 th match, which we were ready to go for an engagement on FEB 1 st Sunday. We had only 5days left to decide, we asked them to send the girl s picture through AIR-Mail, so that it could reach us from New Delhi within 2 days, so that we Could take a decision before 1 st of Feb. On 30 th we received the photo. My mother had called me at my office and told me that the girl is good looking. On my way home I sensed that she is the one whom God has chosen for me. After reaching home my mother was very excited to show the photograph to me. But I told her that I don t want to see the photo immediately, let me pray before that.. I offered thanks to God. Thank you dear God for your wonderful gift in my LIFE. After this prayer I saw the photo & felt very happy to see her. Tears were rolling from my eyes that GOD has fulfilled my heart s desire. Problems faced from people: Many people told me that what ever I was praying is not going to happen. You will be without marriage till the end of life if you desire like this. But I never lost my trust on God. Victoria faced the same problems when she was praying. Every day she would to pray while travelling and in everything that she did. Her friends teased her that it is not going to happen. But GOD has answered our prayers. The Best coincidence of our faith: *I was writing Gods miracles in my life in a Diary since two years * Victoria was writing Gods miracles in her life since the age of thirteen. Other Coincidences: Our names show the same meaning as VICTORY My father s name: Jaya Raju Victoria s mother s name: Jaya My mother s name: Vijaya Kumari Victoria s father s name: Vijaya Babu CONCLUSION:

5 My dear Bothers & Sisters in Christ, the above testimony happened according to my faith. The faith varies from person to person. So if you want to find a right companion in your life through God. Please pray for the guidance of God. Also don t fight back to the situations around you. Hand it over in God s mighty hands, trade your problems & struggles with the success, happiness, peace and joy from the cross. Even I have faced strong situations that forced me to leave prayer & find a girl on my own. But my gracious Jesus did not allow me. God has mighty plans for every one. The only thing is we should know the plan of God through our prayers & try to get the help from God. Be wise in choosing any thing. IMPOARTANT: DO NOT PRAY KAEEPING A PERSON IN YOUR MIND FOR YOUR MARRIAGE. PLEASE ALLOW GOD TO DO HIS MIRACLE IN YOUR LIFE ALWAYS DO NOT TRY TO HANDLE SITUATIONS ON YOUR OWN. LEAVE IT FOR GOD TO DO. (Do what you can & leave the rest to God what you can t). Then I can assure, you will see the miracles of God in your life. I know you are touched by this testimony. Out of one thousand printed copies on the first edition, my testimony saved one girl who has planned to commit suicide because she is poor and had a fear that she may not get married.
