1 That Man is You! is an interactive, multimedia men s program focused upon the development of authentic male leadership. Over the course of three years, That Man is You! successively considers men in their relationship to God, to their spouse and to their children. The program content harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive. It is particularly indebted to the teachings of the Second Vatican Council and Pope John Paul II. That Man is You! is successful at attracting large numbers of men, including younger men still actively parenting, and then transforming their spiritual lives. Indeed, independent research from a Faith Advisor to The Gallup Poll reveals That Man is You! to be one of the most life transforming programs ever studied. COME SEE! We know all the gestures. But do we know what it all means? 2017 Women's Retreat Weekend - July Men's Retreat Weekend - July What is Christ Renews His Parish? Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP, pronounced "Chirp") is a spiritual renewal weekend retreat designed to help individuals grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and with others in their faith community. It is an excellent opportunity for Catholics to renew their understanding of the basic beliefs and traditions of their faith. CRHP is a process designed to bring members of a parish together in Christ. Just as all of our other commitments need renewal, so does our commitment to Christ if we're to be faithful followers. CRHP is an effective spiritual renewal that calls together members of the parish to experience personal conversion and Christian community within the environment of St. Edward's. A Biblical Walk Through the Mass takes us on a unique tour of the Liturgy. Based on the revised translation of the Mass, this series explores the biblical roots of the words and gestures we experience in the Liturgy and explains their profound significance. This intriguing look at the Mass is sure to renew your faith and deepen your devotion to the Eucharist. ADULT SACRAMENT PREPARATION IS JUST WHAT YOU NEED All classes 7:00-8:30PM SEEC 22 Middle School Building HEARTS AFIRE:PARISH BASED PROGRAMS Today people are living busy and challenging lives; HAPP is a three stage program: Stage 1: The Two Hearts Part 1: The Immaculate Heart 33 Days to Morning Glory Part 2:The Sacred Heart Consoling the Heart of Jesus Watch the bulletin for start dates in the fall. We will be meeting 1 time a week that s all it takes! We begin with the Immaculate Heart, because Mary leads us to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Starting with the book 33 Days to Morning Glory: A Do-It-Yourself Retreat in Preparation for Marian Consecration and its accompanying group-retreat materials, which consist of 6 DVD lessons that are 30 minutes in length and a Retreat Companion for each participant. The goal of this program is to lead us to formally entrust ourselves to Mary, as Christ did at the Annunciation and as He willed for His disciples at the foot of the cross. Mary then leads us to the Sacred Heart, which begins the second part of Stage One. The book Consoling the Heart of Jesus gives us an awareness of God's infinite mercy and how we can give Him joy, showing us the way to console His heart by accepting His love and trusting in Him completely. It also focuses on what to do with the suffering we all encounter, helping us grow spiritually closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Consoling the Heart of Jesus retreat consists of 10 DVD lessons that are 45 minutes in length and a Retreat Companion for each participant.
