2 NURSERY &CRÈCHE First Roko is a fully OFSTED registered day care nursery provision open to children aged 2 months to 5yrs. Children do not have to be members of Roko Health Club as we are an independent Nursery provision. NURSERY Under 3 s Over 3 s Full day (7: ) Half day (am) Half Day (pm) First Roko also has a registered pre-school department where 3 & 4 year olds can have up to 5 free preschool sessions per week. We are closed on Bank Holidays and at Christmas. For further information please phone or visit HOLIDAY CAMPS WITH FIRST STEPS Children s holiday camps will usually run during the school holidays. First Steps provide a packed timetable with different activities ranging from fitness classes to mask making and swimming. The holiday camps are for children 4-12yrs old. Full day Half day For further information about First Steps next holiday camp please phone First Steps Nursery or visit NOTES: Holiday camps will be held during school holidays and will be available to members at a reduced cost. For Health & Safety reasons only juniors who have booked for a class or holiday camp may participate in the activities so please book in advance. FIRST STEPS BIRTHDAY PARTIES First Roko are excited to announce that they are now going to be offering birthday Parties from June The parties will be on a Saturday at the following times: 10am-12pm, 1-3pm & 4-6pm. First Steps offer a range of different themed parties from arts and craft, bouncy castle, swimming, pamper or a themed party of your choice. The party package will included 2 party co-ordinators with a childcare background, food, CD with party pictures on, room decorations; Prices start from 175 per party. For all information about the nursery and children s parties please call or amanda@firststepsnursery.net ROKO SWIMMING LESSONS Swim Roko is Roko Health club s swimming lesson programme for children aged 12 months +. We have parent and child lessons on the programme (12months 4yrs), group lessons (4yrs +), and 1-1 lessons for both adults and children. 4 ROKO JUNIOR & TEEN GYM USERS Infants - under 5 years old Junior years old Youth 16 & 17 years old All 0-12yrs MUST be accompanied by an adult member at all times to 6:30pm in the facilities and up to 8pm in the club lounge year olds are permitted to use the gym facilities between 4pm- 6:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am 6:30pm Saturday s and Sunday s. ALL juniors must be supervised in the gym at ALL times by a parent/guardian (ratio 1 adult 2 Junior) year olds are free to use the cardio equipment BUT are not to use the boxing ring or the weights. 13 years+ - Can attend some adult classes that are stated on the timetable 16 & 17 year olds can use the club unaccompanied until 8pm. After 8pm they must be supervised by a parent/guardian. 16 & 17 year olds can take part in the ADULT studio classes but are not permitted to use the pool spa area or sun bed. SWIMMING POOL INFORMATION Here at Roko we have a 20metre fitness pool and a splash pool for children. Families can swim weekdays 9am-6:30pm. Weekends: from the club opening to 6:30pm. All children must be out of the swimming pool by 6:30pm. Juniors may use the swimming pool but must have an adult with them at all times on poolside. Children under the age of 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult in the changing rooms. Once a child has had his/her 7th birthday they must change in gender changing room

5 CLASS DESCRIPTIONS Active Circuits This is a fun Circuits class using different pieces of gym equipment to challenge the children s stamina, strength and co-ordination. This class is great for keeping the children focused, fit & healthy. Active Kids This class is a great way to let off some steam after a busy week at school. There is mixture of games, circuits and fitness challenges in this class to keep the kids moving and thinking for themselves. Arts & Crafts This class is a nice wind down after a long day at school. The children are in a safe environment designing and making something to be proud of. Baby Ballet This is a private company who hire our studio. They provide ballet lessons for children 18mnths+. They help build your confidence and teach you and your baby how to be safe in the water. Please visit their website for more information: info@babyswimmers.co.uk Baking This session will involve different baking activities each week such as, making pizza, baking buns and biscuit decorating. Boxing/Circuits This class teaches the fundamentals of boxing by using challenging circuits and pad work. The children will leave inspired as well as energised and enthusiastic Cheer Dance This class is full of routines, cheers and even tumbles & flips! This class is a great way to keep the children focused and motivated at the start of the week. Sarah is a fantastic instructor and will help the children make friends and build confidence Family Boot Camp This is for both parents and children! Suitable for 5yr + this boot camp style class will get everybody working hard and working as a team. Parents can stay and join in or you can drop the children off and have your own workout. This class will be outside weather permitting! Homework & Games Club This session is a nice way for the children to wind down after a long week at school. If they have any homework to do over the weekend, the steps team will happily help them to complete this or listen to them read if they have a book to complete. This will then free up your weekend to have more family time! (Or if they want to forget about school they can wind down with some fun games and puzzles.) Rock X Martial Training Martial Arts These classes are to help children learn discipline through martial arts and to achieve belts along the way. The team are highly qualified with years of experience and they also have world titles behind them!
