2 OVERVIEW DIATOMACEOUS EARTH (D.E.) FILTRATION FOR OILFIELD FILTRATION OPERATIONS Clean completion fluids can only be obtained by using the right selection of filtration equipment and consumables. Diatomaceous Earth (D.E.) filtration is the most effective method for filtration of completion fluids. Twin Filter has sourced his own D.E. material, Twinlite. Our Vertical Pressure Leaf (VPL) filter unit, or our Filter Press, in combination with the Duplex cartridge filter unit has proved to be the most effective solution for filtration of fluids.
