This process, run under vacuum in a nitrogen atmosphere, produces stable products that are clear and transparent in appearance, with very low acidity and with the physical characteristics, such as form, greasiness, colour, smell and viscosity, typical of the starting oil. The key benefit of this production process is that it maintains intact the properties and fatty acid profile of the original oil. We have performed tests (available on request) that compare the fatty acid profile before and after the trans-esterification process. Further benefits include the fact that most of the products in the RESPLANTA range do not interfere with the foaming activity of surfactant systems, are not tested on animals, are classified as non-irritant according to IN VITRO tests (details available on request) and are over 90% biodegradable. 3 Almond Oil PEG-8 Esters This product allows you to employ the known emollient, eutrofic, restoring and decongestant properties of sweet almond oil (Prunus Dulcis), which is rich in oligo-elements, protides and polysaccharides, in a water soluble form. It has a mild surfactant power and provides vehiculating, solubilizing and cleansing properties. Glycereth-8 Babassu Oil Esters This is one of the latest members of the RESPLANTA family. Babassu oil (Orbignya Oleifera), which originates from the Brazilian rainforests, is said to have non-comedogenic properties. When used in cosmetic products, our easy to use water soluble oil contributes to leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. Glycereth-8 Coconut Oil Esters A well known moisturising oil (Cocos Nucifera) in water soluble form. A particularly light oil that is easily absorbed by the skin and leaves it feeling satin smooth. Also particularly indicated for hair care products as it is known to moisturise and condition dull or dry hair. Glycereth-8 Cotton Oil Esters Made from pesticide free cosmetic grade cotton oil (Gossypium Herbaceum) so as to guarantee the safe use of the emollient properties of this particular oil. In water soluble form it is easy to use in all types of cosmetic products. Grape Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters Grape seed oil (Vitis Vinifera) is known to be rich in vitamins, minerals and linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid for maintaining skin healthy. Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil PEG-8 Esters This oil (Cannabis Sativa) is perfect for use in skin care and skin protective products as well as hair care products. 4 Glycereth-8 Shea Butter Esters This special member of the RESPLANTA family is particularly interesting. Rich shea butter is known to protect and care for cracked and dehydrated skin and can be used to smoothen and replenish dry skin. Resplanta Karite offers these considerable characteristics to the formulator in an easy to use form. Jojoba Oil PEG-8 Esters This is a surfactant derivative of jojoba oil (Buxus Chinensis). The excellent dermal compatibility allows it to be used for its emollient and carrying properties in skin care and bathing products. In addition to offering the functional properties of Jojoba to cosmetic products, RESPLANTA Jojoba also has a stabilising action. When used in toiletry products it can help limit the level of irritancy of the primary surfactant. Glycereth-8 Macadamia Seed Oil Esters This product allows you to use the nutrient, emollient and eudermic properties of macadamia oil (Macadamia Ternifolia) in water soluble form. Corn Oil PEG-8 Esters This common oil is known to be rich in linoleic acid. Glycereth-8 Peach Oil Esters Peach kernel oil (Prunus Persica) is known for its skin conditioning and emollient properties. It is non-greasy and is ideal for treating dry, mature skin. Glycereth-8 Sunflower Seed Oil Esters A more economical alternative (Helianthus Annuus) to olive oil that has similar properties. It contains vitamin E and has interesting moisturising properties. Wheat Germ Oil PEG-8 Esters This particular oil (Triticum Vulgare) is very nutritional, contains vitamin E and is believed to be a free radical scavenger.
