Major responsibilities included: Psychosocial assessment, individual and family counseling, advocacy for the client with other service providers and the community, and emergency on-call coverage. Active participant on agency and inter-agency planning committees. DWELLING PLACE OF GRAND RAPIDS, INC. 9/82-3/84 Crisis Home Program Supervisor Clinical and administrative supervision of a six bed crisis home. Home provides services for individuals in psychiatric crisis. Program designed as an alternative to hospitalization. Responsibilities included: direct supervision of a ten member staff, budget management, maintenance of physical plant, liaison to other community agencies, formulation of policies, operating procedures and philosophy of treatment.
