2 B Your company is hereby invited to participate in the Market Visit Programme focusing on Energy Savings China is now the largest CO 2 emitter in the world and the central government is taking serious measurement curbing the emission curve and promoting energy saving solutions. Denmark is already a world leader in energy efficiency. Denmark s energy consumption will be reduced by another 12 percent by 2020 as part of the 2012 energy agreement. Denmark was honoured with the EE Visionary Award in May 2014 at the Energy Efficiency Global Forum. There will be huge corporation potential between Denmark and China in terms of energy saving solutions and assistance to improve the Chinese energy efficiency especially in the most energy intensive industries. To help the Danish companies to a better brand position in the Chinese market, the Trade Council is organising a programme to promote the Danish solutions and competencies. The programme consist of a Danish Pavilion at EnerCon China, BtB meetings, an energy saving seminar for key industrial players and fact finding visits to Chinese companies from 25 th to 29 th November 2014 The market visit is associated to the International Trade fair for Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection (EnerCon China) from 27 th to 29 th November, organised by China Industry Energy Conservation & Cleaner Production Association (CIECCPA). You can find the exhibition details on EnerCon China 2014 is dedicated to becoming the largest and most comprehensive trade fair in the field of providing both manufacturers and service providers an unprecedented platform to showcase solutions for saving energy and minimizing emissions. Comprising an area of 20,000 square meters in total, EnerCon China 2014 will focus on the sectors with extensive market applications and great potential of energy conservation and emission reduction such as steel, chemicals, non-ferrous metal and other energy-consuming industries. EnerCon China 2014 will establish a platform for exchange and cooperation where participating enterprises meet decision makers from the government, research institutions, investment bodies and most important key buyers from energy-consuming industries in China. 1

4 Friday, 28 th Nov Industry energy saving workshop Price: 4,675 DKK per company with 2 attendees per company plus outlays for venue, translation and lunch Participation fee The fee for the full programme participation is 25,245 DKK. If your company complies with the Trade Council s conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), a subsidy of 50% of our hourly rate is applicable and thus, reduce the full programme participation fee to 12, DKK provided that a min of 4 SMEs sign up.
