Program for announced but unscheduled audits of certified organizations (witness audits). 8. Sanction Policy. 16

17 Yellow and Red Cards Yellow card Corrective action CB within 3 months Despite corrective actions in case of a yellow card same remains valid for a period of 12 months Note: A yellow card is automatically raised in case of breach of a 0 tolerance indicator Red card Follows after a second yellow card on the same indicator within 3 months or After three yellow cards on the same indicator within 12 months And in case of multiple yellow cards on various indicators that cumulatively indicate a lack of appropriate control In case food safety is at risk a red card can be issued directly 17
