12 Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Trainings Suicide Alertness for Everyone, Tell, Ask, Listen & KeepSafe A 3.5 hour training for everyone in the community and emphasizes the ability to recognize a person at risk for suicide and know how to connect them with a person trained in suicide first aid intervention. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training A 2 day training that assists community members and organizations to learn suicide first aid intervention. Outcome studies show participants are more willing, ready and able to help a person at risk of suicide. Training for professionals & communities in suicide prevention & response A comprehensive program for professionals and communities in emphasizing prevention and intervention strategies, promoting healing and reducing risk after a suicide. Persons who have survived their own suicide and/or who have family members who have attempted suicide, are trained how to safely share their story privately and publicly.
