2 A very attractive rice cooker that allows you to cook rice in the microwave COOKING CHART *Recommendations for use with 800 Watt Microwave. Time saver. No need to boil water first. Thanks to its design, water doesn t overflow... microwave stays clean. From kitchen to table. A simple, practical and highly attractive design, the Rice Cooker can be taken to the table and used as a serving vessel. Not only for rice! Use for a wide variety of other grains: cous- GRAIN AMOUNT (DRIED) WATER (CUPS)...¼ cup...½ cup...¾ cup...1 ¼ cup...1 ½ cup...2 cups TIME (MINUTES)...2:15 RESTING TIME (MINUTES) cous, wheat, barley, oats, buckwheat, etc. Scientifically tested. Its design is the result of research on cooking rice in the microwave. Short grain rice......¼ cup...¾ cup...2 cups Minute white rice... (whole grain)

3 RICE WITH BLACK BEANS SUMMER VEGETABLE RICE MEDLEY 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, finely minced 2 tbsp olive oil 1 1/3 cup water 2/3 cup black bean liquid 1/4 cup black beans 1 cup long grain rice Scallions and fresh cilantro, to garnish ½ zucchini, diced ¼ yellow summer squash, diced 3 baby bella or white mushrooms, sliced 1. Chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves. Put into the Lekue Rice Cooker with a pinch of salt and pepper and olive oil. 2. Cook in the microwave for 2 minutes at 800watts. 3. While that is cooking, drain the black beans, saving the liquid. 4. Remove the rice cooker from the microwave; add the water, black bean liquid, rice, and black beans. Stir all together. 1. Dice the zucchini and yellow squash, and slice the mushrooms. 2. Place all ingredients into the Lekue Rice Cooker with a pinch of salt and pepper. 3. Cook in the microwave for 16 minutes at 800watts. 4. Remove from the microwave and let sit for 1 minute. Enjoy! 5. Cook in the microwave and cook for 16 minutes at 800watts. 6. Remove from the microwave, let rest for 1 minute. *To serve, garnish with chopped scallions and fresh cilantro.

4 RICE SALAD BROCCOLI AND CHEESE RICE 1. Put all ingredients, except the cheese, 1/3 cup red onion, diced ½ yellow bell pepper, diced 1 celery stalk, diced ¼ cup garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp balsamic vinegar Goat cheese (if desired) 1. Put the rice and water into the Lekue Rice Cooker. Place in the microwave and cook for 13 minutes at 800watts. into the Lekue Rice Cooker. ½ cup small broccoli florets 2. Cook in the microwave for 14 minutes at ¼ cheese of your choice, grated 800watts. 3. Remove from the microwave and while, pinch still hot, add the grated cheese to the rice., pinch 4. Mix gently to melt the cheese. Enjoy! RICE WITH CORN AND BANANA PEPPERS 2. While the rice is cooking, dice up the vegetables. 3. Once the rice is done, fluff with a fork. Let cool for a minute and then add the olive oil, balsamic, diced vegetables, garbanzo beans, salt, and pepper. 4. Mix together, season with salt and pepper. Finish with a small amount of crumbled goat cheese. *You can also add or substitute cucumber, sweet onion, zucchini, etc. for any of the vegetables. 1/3 cup canned sweet corn, drained 1 small onion, chopped 1 banana pepper, seeded and deveined, chopped 2 tsp salt 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp ground cumin 1. Place all ingredients into the Lekue Rice Cooker. 2. Place the rice cooker into the microwave and cook for 14 minutes at 800watts. 3. Remove from the microwave and enjoy.
