Welcome! Welcome and congratulations for taking the time and energy to develop your Tarot reading skills and grow your confidence. You know, I wish I had this when I was starting to learn to read Tarot. I started my studies by reading as many books as possible, joining as many online forums as possible, and filling my brain with as much information as possible. I can tell you, it was OVERWHELMING! After several years of this intensive approach to learning Tarot, I realised that I was going about it in the wrong way. I was trying desperately to advance my knowledge in Tarot by cramming as much information into my head as possible, but I wasn't making progress. My readings were stilted and often a simple recitation of what I had read in the Tarot books. I was missing the whole idea of Tarot to trust your intuition and to go with your gut! So I tried a new approach. I ditched the Tarot books and I learned to read the card in the context of the reading. I learned how to intuitively and confidently interpret the cards, not by rote learning what the books had to say but by drawing on everything that I knew rationally and intuitively about the Tarot and about life. What happened was amazing. My readings flowed easily and effortlessly. My clients commented on how insightful and accurate their readings were. And I start to really enjoy what I was doing. So that's why I'm here today, ready to teach you how to read the Tarot intuitively and confidently, without having to memorise card meanings or rely heavily on the Tarot books. I'm here to help fast-track your learning so you don't have to make the mistakes I made when I first started out and you can go straight into reading the cards with confidence. We're about to start on an amazing journey through Tarot together, but before we do, I want to make sure you have everything you need so that you can get the most out of this course BiddyTarot 3

Key Resources TF1: Master the Tarot Card Meanings Workbook That's what you're looking at right now! I've created the TF1: Master the Tarot Card Meanings Workbook so that you can put your learning into action and take your skills to the next level. The Workbook includes an overview of each module, hands-on activities to apply your skills, and templates and resources to advance your learning. Print it out or type and save into the PDF. Bring the Workbook to each of your classes, too. Tarot Foundations Student Learning Hub You have now been given exclusive access to the TF1 Learning Hub where you'll find all the learning materials for the course including the recorded training webinars, the Workbook, presentation handouts, quizzes and more. Once you have your personal log-in details you can enter the site via the log-in page: Login page: Student home page: You'll also find "Learning Hub" under the menu item "Courses" on the website. Biddy Tarot Guides (recommended) As part of the program, I strongly recommend you have a copy of my three Tarot Guides (The Ultimate Guide to Tarot Card Meanings, the Companion Workbook and Tarot Foundations: 31 Days to Read Tarot with Confidence) that have been specially designed to help you learn Tarot quickly and easily. Go to to access my Tarot Guides. The Ultimate Guide to Tarot Card Meanings can be used during the course as an easy reference guide for the Tarot card meanings. For example, before we review the Tarot cards in an upcoming class, you might want to read about each one in the Guide. Of course, I want you to be able to create your own meanings, but sometimes it helps to have a starting point, and that is what The Guide offers you. The Companion Workbook is an excellent way to keep track of the different Tarot card meanings you create as you progress through the course and as you develop a deeper and more personal understanding of each Tarot card. Record your ideas and notes in this editable PDF. And finally, Tarot Foundations is like your 'textbook' for the course. While all the class activities are contained in this Workbook, I also recommend that you refer to the relevant sections in Tarot Foundations for additional tutorials and learning activities. It's perfect for when you want to understand a particular topic in more detail or want to take your Tarot studies further BiddyTarot 4

Facebook Group (recommended) You're not alone in this journey! Through our private Facebook Group, connect with other like-minded individuals who are also participating in the course and share your insights, learnings and stories with each other. This is a highly valuable resource with the course, so you'll want to take full advantage of it. Request to join at How to Get the Most Out of the Course 1. Schedule a time to Watch the Webinars and Complete the Activities I strongly encourage you to make a commitment to yourself to work on the course modules by scheduling some learning time each week where you can dive into the lessons uninterrupted. 2. Repeat the Lessons Unless you have a mega memory, it may take a few times of listening and/or reading for the materials to really sink in and have a life-changing impact. I recommend going over the material a couple of times, allowing it to truly wash over you and eventually seep in to the depths of your inner psyche. 3. Remove all Distractions It's easy to get into 'multi-tasking' mode doing lots of things at the same, thinking we're being super-productive. But when you want laser-focused attention, you need to stop everything else that you are doing and give your full attention to the task at hand. When you are watching the training webinar or working through the Workbook, shut down all other programs on your computer or clear your desk of all other materials. 4. Create Your Own Action Plan The Workbook is going to get you to think a lot about your own personal journey with Tarot. But there are also going to be things that you want to put into action, be it daily Tarot practice, further reading, or new Tarot techniques. Set up your personal action plan or To Do list that you have nearby so that you can record clear actions and can follow through with these throughout the course. 5. Have Fun! Don't take yourself too seriously! Yes, we're dealing with some serious stuff here, but I also want you to just enjoy yourself and have fun with it BiddyTarot 5

Activity 2: Symbolic Themes Choose a symbol (e.g. castles, clouds, crowns, etc.) and go through your deck to find all cards with that symbol. What are the similarities in the card meanings of these cards? What are the differences? How does the symbol appear in each card? And how does this influence the card s meaning? Are there other symbols that are common across the selected cards? Take note of your observations here: Try this activity with other, more obscure symbols in the Tarot. You might be surprised how many cards contain symbols that you've never noticed before. Activity 3: What Catches your Eye? Look at each of these three cards and identify the various symbols contained within. What do these symbols tell us about the card? What catches your eye most? What has personal meaning for you? 2015 BiddyTarot 12

Activity 4: Once Upon a Time For each card below, write down: What is happening? (Who, what, where, how?) Then what happens? What is the outcome? Why did it happen? What is the moral of the story? Start your story with "Once upon a time " 2015 BiddyTarot 13

Use this method of interpreting an individual Tarot card to generate meanings for each card in the deck. You can either do this now (a large undertaking!) or as you go about learning each card over the coming weeks and months. Activity 5: The Once Upon a Time Reading Record your initial thoughts and insights for the following sample Tarot reading, using the Once Upon a Time method. Use the individual stories you created in Activity 4 and now bring them together into one coherent story for this sample reading. Q: What do I need to know about my relationship? 2015 BiddyTarot 14

Activity 6: Card-a-Day Start using the 5-minute Card-a-Day activity today! (And keep it going as a daily practice from now on.) Use the Card-a-Day template provided separately or record your notes into a personal journal or notebook. Here's how you do it in 4 easy steps: Step 1: Randomly select a Tarot card for the day. Step 2: Gaze at the card. What comes to mind immediately? What imagery do you notice? What energy do you pick up from the card? What words come to mind? What do you sense intuitively? Write it down. Step 3: Now go about your day as normal. But what I want you to do is look out for people and situations that embody the energy of the card you drew. Let's say you drew the Page of Swords. Does the young, chatty guy down at the coffee shop remind you of the Page? Talk to him today and see what he can teach you about the Page. And how about that new project you started can you feel the Page's energy there? Pay attention to everything you do and experience and watch the Tarot card come to life. Step 4: At the end of the day, come back to your notes and write down your personal experiences for the day. You'll be amazed at how much you've just learned about the card, without even opening a book! Activity 7: Remember a Time When Note: This is an optional activity. If you would like to go deeper with the Minor Arcana cards and have some extra time and energy to do so, then I definitely recommend this activity. For each Suit (from the Ace to the King), go through each card and remember a time when you experienced the core energy of the card. For example, let's walk through the Suit of Swords together 2015 BiddyTarot 15

Remember a time when Ace of Swords you had a break-through moment with a completely new idea Two of Swords you were faced with making a difficult decision Three of Swords you felt hurt and heartbroken Four of Swords you took some time out to restore your energy Five of Swords you lost an argument and had to apologise Six of Swords you had to leave a home, relationship, job or something special behind in order to find something better Seven of Swords you had to act strategically and take advantage of a situation 2015 BiddyTarot 16

Eight of Swords you felt trapped and restricted Nine of Swords you worried yourself sick with the worst case scenario Ten of Swords you were betrayed and back-stabbed Page of Swords you asked a lot of questions and were very inquisitive Knight of Swords you felt energised and took swift action to move a project forward at great speed Queen of Swords you had to make a decision based on 'tough love' King of Swords you presented a very strong and compelling argument and convinced others to adopt your way of thinking If you enjoyed this activity with the Suit of Swords, create similar activities for each of the other Tarot Suits BiddyTarot 17

Now, pick out 3-5 cards that represent the most positive cards in your Tarot deck. This time, come up with at least one interpretation of each card that may be a shortcoming or a negative aspect of the card. Write these down and keep them nearby for future Tarot readings.
