2 Annual tuition fees for academic session This guide provides you with information on the University s fees for undergraduate study. All fees are in sterling and may be subject to revision. DISCLAIMER Scottish and EU fees are subject to confirmation by the Scottish Funding Council For more information see 14 November
3 Fees for Undergraduate study Students domiciled in Scotland and the EU (not including England, Wales and Northern Ireland) All programmes 1,820 Work placement and language abroad year 910 Outgoing exchange 1,820 Home/EU undergraduate students undertaking an exchange for a semester/year will continue to pay their normal tuition fees at Glasgow and will not be charged fees by the overseas institution. Students domiciled in Scotland and the EU (not including England, Wales and Northern Ireland) Part-time 30 credits* credits 1, credits credits 1, credits credits 1, credits credits 1, credits 1, credits** 1,805 *Minimum fundable credits by SAAS Maxiumum fundable credits by SAAS RUK part-time fees are pro rata. Students domiciled in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands*** All programmes (except Dentistry, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Nursing) 6,750 Dentistry, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Surgery 9,000 Nursing 1,820 Undergraduates work placement and language abroad year tbc Outgoing exchange 6,750 *** Students may be eligible for a Welcome Bursary (first year only), Access Tuition Fee Discount or Access Scholarship please visit for more information. 6 Additional fees The following additional fees are applicable: 1. Examinations-only students pay the registration fee of The General Council fee is 60. General notes 1. The exceptions to standard fees listed are correct at the time of going to press. However, you should check the fee level applicable to your course of study at the time of your admission. 2. Fees quoted are for new entrants. Lower fees may apply to some continuing students. Details may be obtained from the Registry. See 3. International students may, in certain limited circumstances, be admitted to part-time study paying an appropriate percentage of the relevant full-time international fee. 4. Special fees apply to members of staff undertaking parttime study. Details may be obtained from ac.uk/services/humanresources/tuitionfeespolicy.htm or from the Registry or Human Resources. 5. Different fee levels apply to some courses in the School of Education. Details may be obtained from the school, see 6. Students who are eligible by virtue of previous attendances to sit degree examinations must enter for the examinations at the normal registration period at the beginning of the session and pay a registration fee of Late fees are charged at 3% with a minimum charge of 5. Late fees will not be charged to sponsors. 8. A charge of 20 will be made in cases of returned cheques, unpaid direct debits and cancelled mandates. 14 November
