Although the building dates back to 1917, the renovated property highlights objects by various Finnish designers and has a modern appeal. The hotel is within close walking distance of restaurants, shopping and the main tourist sites. The bedrooms can accommodate single or twin/double occupancy and in-room features include complimentary Wi-Fi, minibar, safe and an electric kettle for tea & coffee. The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is located within walking distance of the main railway station with access to bus and rail service from Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport. Those of you who enjoy practices can take the train to the rink. It s one stop from downtown to Pasila Station. On arrival you ll have a 10 minute walk to Hartwall Arena. If you wanted to walk to the rink from the hotel, please allow minutes depending on your fitness level.

3 Arena Transfers Although our hotel has easy access to transit, Uniworld Travel has provided return hotel-arena-hotel transfers for our clients on competition days from March 29 th through April 2 nd. Hartwall Arena Seating Our group seats at the arena are Ice Level 1 and include row 4-8 across from the judges. End seats are available upon request only. Insurance Insurance coverage is recommended in order to protect you in the event of unexpected trip cancellation/interruption. Travel insurance is available from Uniworld Travel & Tours Inc. to Ontario Residents only. We will attempt to book clients on the same flight making group airport transfers a possibility. We can also arrange for connecting flights on Air Canada from other cities. Documentation Requirements A valid passport is required by Canadian or American citizens for entry into Finland. Passports must be valid for a minimum of 3 months beyond the period of extended stay. Visas for Latvia, Estonia and Sweden for nationals of Canada and the USA are not required if staying under 90 days. 4 Pre-Worlds Tour Itinerary March 21-26, 2017 Day 1 Tuesday, March 21 Departure from your home city to Riga, Latvia. The first night is in-flight for our North American guests. Day 2 Wednesday, March 22 Riga, Latvia Early afternoon arrival and check-in procedures at the Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija or similar. The balance of your afternoon is at leisure to explore your new surroundings. Please join us this evening for a group welcome dinner at our hotel before retiring after a busy travel day. Day 3 Thursday, March 23 Half-Day Riga Tour & Half-Day at Leisure After breakfast, we will depart on our half-day tour of the historic city of Riga on the river Daugava. The city's centre is the old Hansa town, part of the Hanseatic League and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will see the most important historical sites and enjoy the medieval architecture of the town including the Riga Cathedral. Our tour will also include lunch. Upon our return to the hotel, the balance of the afternoon and dinner will be at leisure. Please note the walking portion of the tour in the old city centre will take approximately 1 hour and cover approximately 1½ kilometers. Day 4 Friday, March 24 Transfer to Tallinn, Estonia & Half-Day at Leisure This morning after breakfast, the group will depart by motorcoach for Tallinn, Estonia. Arrival in the early afternoon at the Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia or similar and check-in procedures. The balance of your day and dinner are at leisure to explore or perhaps take in one of the many museums Tallinn has to offer including a KGB museum! Day 5 Saturday, March 25 Full-Day Tallinn Tour After breakfast, we will depart on a full-day tour of medieval Tallinn, also a Hansa town with a UNESCO designation. We'll begin with a walking tour of the old town highlighting the ancient city centre including the Tower of Tall Hermann, the Palace of Toompea and the Aleksander Nevskij Cathedral. After a fun group lunch, we will leave the city centre for a visit to Seaplane Harbor, Tallinn s newest marine museum initially completed as part of Peter the Great s Naval Fortress in Here we will take in life-size marine exhibits and have the opportunity to capture breath-taking views of the old town and port. Return to the hotel with balance of the day and dinner at leisure. Please note the walking tour in the old city centre will take approximately 1 hour and cover approximately 1½ kilometers. Day 6 Sunday, March 26 Ferry to Helsinki & Welcome Cocktail Party After breakfast, we will depart for the Port of Tallinn and board our Tallink Silja Line Ferry for the 2 hour voyage to the Port of Helsinki. Onboard explore shops and restaurants or just enjoy the view and a good book! Upon arrival in Helsinki we will be met and transferred to the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel or similar for check-in procedures. Please join the group this evening for a welcome cocktail reception at the hotel and help greet the rest of our skating friends arriving today. Dinner and balance of your evening will be at leisure to unpack and relax!. Skating Tour Itinerary March 25 - April 3, 2017 Day 1 Saturday, March 25 Departure from your home city to Helsinki, Finland. Overnight is in-flight for our North American guests. Day 2 Sunday, March 26 Arrival & Welcome Cocktail Reception Arrival at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel or similar and check-in procedures. Please join us tonight for a welcome cocktail reception in the hotel. This is a great chance to reacquaint with or meet new members of our skating family. Balance of evening and dinner will be at leisure to unpack and rest after a busy travel day. Day 3 Monday, March 27 Helsinki & Porvoo After breakfast, the group will depart on a full-day tour featuring the highlights of Helsinki including Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral and a visit to Temppeliaukion Kirkko (The Rock Church), a famous city landmark built directly out of the solid rock landscape. We will also visit the lovely old town of Porvoo, Finland's second-oldest city. Here the group will enjoy lunch before returning to Helsinki. The balance of your day and dinner are at leisure. Day 4 Tuesday, March 28 Day at Leisure or Optional tour to Hämeenlinna - 6 hours Today you may choose to have a day at leisure to explore Helsinki on your own, attend some of the practices at Hartwall Arena or join us on an optional full-day tour.

5 Today we are offering an optional tour to Hämeenlinna, home of Häme Castle built in the 13th century. Following our castle visit, the group will enjoy lunch in elegant surroundings before continuing on the afternoon tour. Next is a visit of the Iittala Glass Center and Museum established in Here we will have the opportunity to watch glass blowing demonstrations and have time in the shop for browsing through a wide range of Finnish tableware and design products! Upon return to the hotel, the balance of your afternoon and evening including dinner will be at leisure. Please note that the Hämeenlinna Tour requires a minimum of 20 people to go ahead. Day 5-8 Wednesday, March 29 - Saturday, April 1 Competition The competition begins today! Return transfers to/from Hartwall Arena once per day have been included for your convenience. Perhaps upon your return to the hotel at the end of each day, you may consider a stop in the hotel lounge to socialize with your skating friends. Everyone is always welcome! Day 9 Sunday, April 2 Exhibition Gala & Farewell Dinner Your morning is at leisure today and the afternoon brings us to the final event of the World Championships - the Gala Exhibition of Champions. This evening please join us for our group Farewell Dinner. This is always such a nice wrap up to an exciting week of figure skating and a time to chat with friends new and old. Then it's time to pack and get ready for the next day's departures. Day 10 Monday, April 3 Departure Day Our skating tour comes to an end today. Post-Worlds Tour Itinerary April 3-7, 2017 Day 1 Monday, April 3 Turku & Overnight Cruise to Stockholm, Sweden This morning, our group will depart by motorcoach for Turku, Finland on the south-west coast of Finland. Enroute, we will visit the town of Fiskars, known for its ironworks. Here we will have the chance to see craftspeople at work followed by a group lunch. Our tour continues to the first Finnish Capital and oldest city in Finland, Turku. This beautiful city features a visit inside Turku Castle and the Luostarinmäki Artisans Museum on Monastery Hill. Upon conclusion of the city tour, the group will proceed to the Port of Turku and board the luxurious Viking Line overnight cruise to Stockholm, Sweden. Enjoy the shops, restaurants and bars onboard before retiring to your private cabin for a comfortable nights sleep. Day 2 Tuesday, April 4 Arrival in Stockholm & Afternoon at Leisure This morning, our ship arrives in the Port of Stockholm early in the morning. Following disembarkation, we will depart for our hotel and enjoy breakfast at the Scandic Hotel Klara followed by an orientation tour of the city including a visit to Stockholm Palace, official residence of the Swedish Royal Family. After the tour, the group will return to the Scandic Hotel Klara or similar for check-in procedures. Lunch and the balance of the afternoon and dinner will be at leisure to unpack and explore your new surroundings. Day 3 Wednesday, April 5 Full-Day Stockholm City Tour After breakfast, we will depart on a full-day tour of Stockholm including a visit inside the famous City Hall and a visit to Gamla Stan the historical centre of Stockholm lined with narrow, medieval cobblestone streets and historical buildings. We will also see the Cathedral, Nobel Museum and Vasa Museum on the island of Djurgården. Our tour includes lunch. Upon our return to the hotel, dinner and the balance of the evening will be at leisure. Day 4 Thursday, April 6 Full-Day at Leisure Today you will have the chance to enjoy a full-day at leisure and discover the beautiful city of Stockholm on your own. Those of you who have visited Stockholm before may be interested in a tour today to Drottningholm Palace outside the city. This 17 th century palace is the permanent residence of the Swedish Royal Family and included on UNESCO's world heritage list. This would be a 5 hour tour and we can organize it if we have enough people interested. Cost will be dependent on numbers of participants. 7 Responsibility The Travel Agent and/or Tour Operator, act only as agents for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodations and other services pertaining to the trip. All exchange orders, coupons and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodation and other services are offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the further conditions. The Travel Agent and/or Tour Company shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity of any vehicle, or through the act of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers, or of any other person otherwise in connection therewith. All permanent residents landed immigrants to Canada must have the new wallet sized permanent resident card in order to re-enter Canada. It is the passenger(s)' responsibility to obtain, at the passenger(s)' own expense, all documentation required for his/her travel. In the event the passenger does not possess the documentation required by the chosen destination, be aware that the carrier(s) reserve(s) the right to refuse the passenger(s) and no refund for unused portion(s) of the arrangements will be allowed. Living Standards Living standards, practices in other countries and standards and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from those found in Canada. Accommodation Accommodations offered in our tours are, to the best of our knowledge, available at the time of publication and are accurately described in this brochure. From time to time, factors beyond our control may cause us to vary the accommodations as described in this brochure. Usually, these changes are minor in nature and unlikely to affect the enjoyment of your vacation. In the event, prior to your departure, we become aware of a "material" change, we will notify you and make every effort to offer you a suitable alternative of a comparable standard. If, after arrival at your destination, a tour component cannot be supplied as purchased, we reserve the right to provide an alternative service of comparable quality. "Material" changes include: i) The scheduled departure of any transportation that forms part of the travel services is delayed for 24 hours or more, except for delays due to mechanical problems that relate to the mode of transportation, safety considerations, weather, strikes or "force majeure". ii) A change of accommodation or a change in the standard of accommodation. iii) A price change of more than 7% of the total price for the travel services. Scheduling All schedules published in this brochure are for guidance purposes only and may be changed prior to departure. All flight times and types of aircraft indicated in this brochure are subject to change, without prior notice. Estimated flight times will be forwarded with your travel documents. Passengers having booked flights to and from other cities, particularly if the tickets for these flights preclude lastminute changes, are advised to allow ample time (3 hours, preferably overnight) between the connecting flight and the scheduled departure from Canada. We cannot assume any liability for additional changes incurred for airfares or other expenses as a result of a passenger having missed a connection. 8 Insurance We strongly recommend your consideration of the various types of insurance coverage that are available through Uniworld Travel & Tours Inc. to protect you in the event of trip cancellation/interruption, protection to your baggage, possessions and valuables and to cover against personal accident, sickness, injury and medical expenses. Either All Inclusive Worldwide Plan or Non-Medical Plan Travel Insurance for the full cost of your trip is available through TIPS Reliable Life Insurance. An insurance brochure will be sent to you at the time of your first nonrefundable payment. It is very important that you read the portion therein which applies to you so that you will become familiar with both the inclusions and exclusions of your policy. Pricing Prices quoted in this brochure are based on fixed costs at the time of printing. These costs are dependent on full costs, rate of exchange and other factors. Should these costs increase, we reserve the right to increase the cost of any tour. In the event the increase is in excess of 7%, you are entitled to cancel the travel arrangements and receive a full refund. Every effort will be made to advise you of any price increase at least 15 days prior to your departure date.
