1 THE VICTORIANS ( ) - OVERVIEW The purpose of this topic is to explore the theme of the Victorians through a creative exploration methodology across the entirety of the curriculum subjects. This theme will be explored through the context of topic based work linking curriculum subjects together for a practical teaching purpose. Here is a breakdown of subject areas and topic focus titles for each of these areas across the KS1 and KS2 age phases. Literacy (directly linked Foundation subjects to cover Topic Based work) All teaching to be planned using the PARTS, TIPS, IDEAS grids in the Commonality in Literacy document.
