4 What is the G8? G8 stands for Group of Eight A group of some of the most powerful economies in the world plus the European Union

6 G8 Countries are: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Russia and the European Union holds all of the obligations and privileges of membership without the right to host or chair. (Countries in red are also in the NATO.)

19 What is NATO? NATO stands for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It started after WWII. NATO consists of 28 member nations. Six of which are in G8. NATO is the world's most powerful military alliance.
