(other students, caretakers, secretary, principal, helpers) Discuss, draw, cut and paste, label and display. Help your students to trace a life-size drawing of themselves, then cut it out. Add labels or a story. Return to pages 4 to 7 with your students and have them compare their pictures. Talk about how they are alike and how they are different. Think about making a display/collage using photocopies of everyone s picture collections from these pages. Plan a graph or a chart based on clothing accessories your students wear. Depending on your students language abilities, they can graph numbers, colours, sizes and patterns. Here are some ideas: belts, baseball caps, headbands, backpacks, bows, watches, scarves, jewellery. Bring and brag. Send home the classroom or school Polaroid camera. Students can take pictures or be photographed in a variety of clothing, for example, night clothes, play clothes, party clothes.
