As of 5 October 2011, Telefónica Germany will offer data tariffs without contract duration and replace its previous tariffs with a new portfolio: O 2 go. There is an ideal flat rate for every Internet user: Customers can choose between three options based on how often they surf. With Surf Flat M, Internet costs as little as 15 euros with up to 1 GB at full speed on laptops, netbooks and tablets. Surf Flat L offers up to 5 GB at full speed for 25 euros a, while Surf Flat XL gives users up to 7.5 GB at full speed for 35 euros per at up to 14.4 Mbit/s. O 2 has also taken into account the cost of using the Internet abroad. Surf Flat XL gives users a 10 euro discount each when surfing the net from outside Germany. Mobile data use on laptops, netbooks and tablets has firmly established itself in the market. Our customers can choose one of our flexible tariffs to suit their needs and can also benefit from high-speed Internet, says Peter Rampling, Managing Director of Telefónica Germany. With the new data tariffs we can now offer our customers a comprehensive portfolio without contract duration. As before, customers have the option of purchasing a tariff with a 24- contract period. Users who choose this option will be given the first two s of their chosen Surf Flat free of charge.

Alternatively, they can choose from one of three ly flat rate options. This offer includes a surf stick with two additional covers in a choice of colours. High-speed surfing for business customers At the same time data conditions for business customers will change, too. As of October 5 th the self-employed, freelancers, small and midsized businesses as well can choose between three surf flats. The inclusive data volume has been expanded accordingly.
