2 1) STATE LICENSING BOARD HARYANA FEES SCHEDULE HARYANA GOVERNMENT POWER DEPAREMENT ORDE R The 29 th Aug, 2013 No 26/4/99-2 Power.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 133 read with rule 45 of the Indian Electricity Rules, 1956, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following amendment in the erstwhile Punjab Government, Irrigation and Power Department, Order No. S.O EL-62/22977, dated the 17 th September, 1962, namely:- AMENDMENT In the erstwhile Punjab Government, Irrigation and Power Department, Order No. S.O EL-62/22977, dated the 17 th September, 1962, for clause 30, the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- 30 Fees on the scale prescribed below shall be charged for the issuing of certificate of competency to Supervisors as well as to those candidates who are exempted from appearing in the said examination and the licences to the Electrical Contractors: I ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR (i) Supervisor Examination. 465/- (ii) Issuing Competency Certificates on the results of the 145/- examination. (iii) For re-checking of totals of marks in written papers on 145/- the request of the candidate. (iv) Certificate to the candidates who are exempted from 290/- the Supervisor Examination. (v) Duplicate copy of the exemption certificates. 145/- (vi) Annual renewal fee of Supervisors competency 145/- certificate. (vii) Renewal fee of Supervisor competency certificate for 360/- three years. (viii) Duplicate copy of the Supervisor certificate. 145/- (ix) Interstate recognition of supervisor certificate issued 360/- by other states (x) Late fee for renewal after grace period 60/-

3 II CONTRACTOR LICENCE (i) Initial fee for A and B class. 2305/- (ii) Annual renewal fee for A and B class. 720/- (iii) Issue of special licence for High Tension work. 1440/- (iv) Late fee for renewal of contractor licence after the 205/- grace period. (v) Fee for duplicate copy of contractor licence. 115/- III. WIREMAN The scale of fees payable by the candidates for Wireman s examination and for the issuing of permits to those candidates who are exempted from appearing in the each examination shall be as under:- (i) Examination fee for A and B Class wireman. 290/- (ii) Issue of wireman permit to successful candidates. 75/- (iii) For issue of permit to a candidate who is exempted 145/- from A and B class wireman examination. (iv) Annual renewal fee to A or B class permit. 75/- (v) Renewal fee to A or B class permit for 3 years. 175/- (vi) Late fee after grace period. 30/- (vii) For issuing duplicate permit. 75/- Note: 1. The revised rates shall be applicable with effect from the date of publication of the notification or , whichever is later. 2. These revised rates would further be increased by 20% after every three years from the date of applicability of these rates.

4 2) INSPECTION FEES FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS HARYANA GOVERNMENT POWER DEPAREMENT ORDE R The 29 th,aug, 2013 No 26/4/99-2 Power.- In pursuance of the provisions contained in clause (a) of sub-rule (1) of rule 46 of the Indian Electricity Rules, 1956 and in supersession of Haryana Government, Power Department, notification No. 26/4/99-2- Power, dated the 21 st December, 2010, the Governor of Haryana hereby directs that all the installations already connected to the supply the system of the supplier, shall be inspected and tested as under:- (1) Extra High and High Voltage Installations by the Electrical Once in Inspector a year (2) Medium voltage installations by the Electrical Inspector Once in except Agricultural consumers which will be inspected by three the supplier years (3) Low voltage installations by the supplier Once in five years 2. In pursuance of the provisions contained in clause (a) of sub-rule (2) of rule 46 of the Indian Electricity rules, 1956, the Governor of Haryana hereby determines the following scale of fees for such periodical inspections and tests:- (a) For inspection and testing for each class of consumers of Extra-High, High and Medium Voltage Installations pertaining to the transformers, Generating sets and motors, separately for each category of installations. (i) Connected load not exceeding 25 Kilo Volt Ampere 145/- (ii) (iii) Connected load exceeding 25 Kilo Volt Ampere but not exceeding 100 Kilo Volt Ampere.. Connected load exceeding 100 Kilo Volt Ampere but not exceeding 500 Kilo Volt Ampere. 290/- 720/- (iv) Connected load exceeding 500 Kilo Volt Ampere but 1440/- not exceeding 1000 Kilo Volt Ampere (v) Connected load exceeding 1000 Kilo Volt Ampere 1440/-+ 30/- per 100 Kilo Volt Ampere or part thereof (b) For inspection and testing of low voltage installations. 30/- (c) For inspection and testing of Over-head lines. 145/-

In case a second or subsequent inspection is necessitated as a result of the initial inspection, the re-inspection fee shall be upto double the amount of fee charged for initial inspection, but in no case shall be less than the initial inspection fee. 4. The periodical inspection fee in respect of the installations, inspection for which had fallen due and to whom notices have already been issued prior to this notification shall be charged at old rates. 5. For converting the connected load in Kilo Watt to Kilo Volt Ampere, the power factor prevailing in the power utility at that time, shall be taken into account for the purpose of calculation of inspection fee. 6. The revised rates shall be applicable with effect from the date of publication of the notification or , whichever is later. 7. These revised rates would further be increased by 20% after every three years from the date of applicability of these rates..

In pursuance of the provisions contained in sub-rule (2) of rule 7 of the Indian Electricity Rules, 1956 and in supersession of Haryana. Government, Power Department, notification No. 26/4/99-2 Power, dated the 21 st December, 2010, the Governor of Haryana hereby directs the levy of following scale of fees for inspection, testing and for decision on appeal pertaining to the electrical installations:- Scale A For an inspection, examination of test of any generating station, receiving station or other place in which energy is generated, transferred or distributed at a pressure of 100 volts or more. installation:- Low, Medium, High tension and extra High tension, installations for each 1 Connected load/installed capacity upto and including 15 Kilo Volt Ampere 145/- 2 Connected load/installed capacity exceeding 15 Kilo Volt Ampere but not exceeding 25 Kilo Volt Ampere 300/- 3 Connected load/installed capacity exceeding 25 Kilo Volt Ampere but not exceeding 100 Kilo Volt Ampere. 4 Connected load/installed capacity exceeding 100 Kilo Volt Ampere but not exceeding 500 Kilo Volt Ampere. 5 Connected load/installed capacity exceeding 500 Kilo Volt Ampere but not exceeding 1000 Kilo Volt Ampere. 580/- 1440/- 2880/- 6 Connected load/installed capacity exceeding 1000 Kilo Volt Ampere (a) For every alteration or replacement in an installation without increasing the capacity of the same. 2880/-+ 60/- per additional 100 Kilo Volt Ampere or part thereof. 145/- (b) In case of generating station or other place where electrical energy is generated, the fee shall be paid by the licensee, or the person generating the energy, while in the case of a receiving station, the fee shall be paid by the owners.

7 Scale B For the inspection, examination or test of extra High tension, High tension, Medium and low tension lines carried on the support. (i) For a line upto and including a length of 2 Kilometer 290/- (ii) For every additional length of 1 Kilometer of the line or a part thereof. 30/- Scale C For an inspection and issue of a certificate under rule 82(3) of the Indian Electricity Rules, /- The fee shall be paid by the person who proposes to erect a new building or structure or to take any addition or alteration in or upon any building or a structure. Scale D For the testing of Energy Meter. 1 Testing of single phase meter. (i) Upto and including 50 ampere 70/- (ii) Above 50 ampere 90/- 2 For testing poly phase meter. (i) Upto and including 50 ampere. 130/- (ii) Above 50 ampere. 175/- 3. If a meter is to be tested on the consumer s premises, double the amount of the fee prescribed in clauses 1 and 2 shall be charged. The fee shall be paid by the party, which requests for the testing. Scale E For making a pressure test on the applicant s premises in respect of:- (i) Low Pressure Installation. 145/- (ii) Medium Pressure Installation. 290/- (iii) High Pressure Installation. 580/-

8 Scale F 1. For giving a decision on an appeal under rule 6 (1) of the Indian Electricity Rules, 1956, in respect of Low Pressure, Medium Pressure and High Pressure Installations. 145/- 2. For giving a decision on an appeal under rule 52 (1) of the Indian Electricity Rules, 1956, in respect of Low Pressure, Medium Pressure and High Pressure Installation. Note : 290/- 1. INSPECTION FEES FOR CINEMA INSTALLATION:- FEES HARYANA GOVERNMENT HOME DEPARTMENT The fees shown in the Schedule to these rules shall be charged for the grant and renewal of licences and for inspections. (These fees shall be deposited in a Government treasury before applying for the grant and renewal of licences and for inspections). (c) The grant or renewal of a licence, as the case may be.

11 4. INSPECTION /REGISTRATION FEES FOR LIFTS AND ESCALATORS:- Registration fees 2500/- To be deposited once at the time of Registration Periodical inspection fee 1000/- To be deposited for periodical inspection once in three years.
