2 5 t h a n n u a l PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT Rules: All team members must be in every photo (except for the person taking the picture) Each team can only turn in 20 photos The first team back will get a bonus of 2000 pts The team with the lowest mileage will get a bonus of 2000 pts The picture with the most people in it will get a bonus of 2000 pts For each minute a team is late, 1000 pts will be deducted from their score Any photo including a stranger will get 500 bonus pts No repeat photos! For example, you can t take two pictures in a squad car. No combining items into one photo. For example, taking a picture jumping rope while wearing cup hats is not counted as double points. No pictures can be taken on the church property at Price and Southern. No pictures may be taken at your team members houses (but houses of other church members are allowed if you have permission from the owner). While creative interpretations of the items are generally allowed, the judges have the final determination as to whether each photo receives points No collaboration with other teams Be respectful in everything you do OBEY ALL TRAFFIC LAWS, FEDERAL LAWS AND ALL OTHER LAWS!!!! 2

Picture with a live farm animal Picture taken with a government official In a fountain Crossing the street in a crosswalk In an elevator By the MCC clock tower Everyone wearing rollerblades Everyone with a musical instrument Swinging on a playground swing set Jumping on a trampoline With a fire hydrant (one that firefighters could actually use to put out a fire) Hugging a cactus In front of a shopping mall In the kids play area at a fast food restaurant Playing video games A picture of everyone taking a picture In front of a big aquarium full of fish With a grocery cart (500 bonus points if a team member is in the cart) With one of those little car rides outside grocery stores Caution tape Trash-digging treasures (left up to judge, must bring back the treasure ) Cup hats An insect Park bench Jump rope A restaurant employee An ice cream sign/symbol A statue (must replicate stance of figure) 3

4 Photos worth 2000 points continued: Attempt to spell a word explaining your picture s background at least the first 2 letters have to be the word you are spelling. In front of a Volkswagen Beetle (can t be a team member s car) An out-of-state license plate (can t be a team member s car) With a mannequin (must replicate stance) Four leafed clover An American $2.00 bill Tent and it must be pitched Kermit the Frog A piece of gum found stuck to the road Something that says Made in Arizona. A cricket mallet A foot long (12 in.) shoe A Gumby or Pokey figure An origami (A decorative object made by folding paper) A T-shirt from Arizona Someone hanging upside down Everyone from your team throwing paper airplanes A nerd Either the candy or dress up one of your group members to look nerdy Your group buying $.10 of gas, receipt and pump must show amount (Picture of receipt and pump price needed) 4

5 Photos worth 3000 points: Doing exactly what a sign says (any sign can work) Inside a city bus Inside a train Inside a walk-in freezer Checking out books at a library Behind the counter of an ice cream store, coffee shop or restaurant On a fire engine (a full-size, working fire engine) Inside a police squad car Sports team member Make yourselves appear really small Can you find us? Colorful tongues eat or drink something to change your tongue to green, purple, etc Two members on your team on a tandem bike Most ethnicities displayed in one picture Everybody s reflections in something other than a mirror Someone from your team doing a slam dunk (picture must have the person in the air) Largest tree Each group takes a picture of the largest tree they can find and the judges award the group who actually has the biggest one. 5

6 Videos worth 4000 points: Shoot a commercial about your team Chugging a can of soda A scene from a Disney movie Climbing a palm tree Playing Duck, Duck, Goose with your eyes closed Someone from your team doing ventriloquism with a puppet Acting like robots Video a dramatic earthquake scene A Crocodile Hunter exhibition Pantomiming Everybody searching frantically on the ground for a contact lens Note: All videotaped items must be in enough light to be clearly seen or points will not be given! 6

7 1000 Bonus points will be added to a photo if everyone is: Acting out a scene from a Disney movie (must have a plausible explanation) Doing a catalog pose Acting like a monkey Doing kung-fu Doing ballet Doing a handstand/headstand Making a pyramid Talking on a cell phone Wearing masks (real masks, not with hands) Wearing hats Wearing sunglasses Everyone reading books In costumes Note: each bonus item can only be used once! 2000 Bonus points will be added to a photo if it includes: A nurse in scrubs A soldier in uniform A street musician A clown A professor A baby A pet (500 additional points if it s an exotic pet) Someone with a tie dyed shirt A person who is 6 5 or taller (can t be a team member) A person (adult) who is 4 11 or shorter (can t be a team member) Someone with a handlebar mustache Note: They must be live people posing with the team, not just in the background. If they are a stranger, the additional 500 stranger bonus points will also be added. Each bonus item can only be used once! 7
