Tema : Jedan pristup analizi optičkih pristupnih mreža Sažetak: Pod pojmom optičkih pristupnih mreža podrazumijevamo pristupne mreže, tj. dio infrastrukture telekomunikacione mreže od pretplatnika do komutacionog centra, koje su primarno načinjene od optičkih kablova i pripadajuće mrežne infrastrukture. Pod pojmom pasivnih optičkih mreža (PON) podrazumijevamo dio pristupnih mreža načinjenih od optičkih kablova i ostalih elemenata PON mreža, od kojih jedan broj elemenata (kao što su optički sprežnici i optički djelitelji) za svoj rad ne zahtjevaju električnu energiju. Iz ovog razloga se ovi elementi nazivaju pasivnim elementima, a optičke mreže koje ih sadrže nazivaju se pasivnim optičkim mrežama. Pasivne optičke mreže se danas smatraju najozbiljnijim kandidatom za potpuno i dugoročno rješavanje problema uskog grla u postojećim pristupnim mrežama za najveći broj sadašnjih i budućih korisnika. Postoji više razloga za ovu tvrdnju, a neki od njih su: PON mreže omogućavaju duže razdaljine od pretplatnika do komutacione opreme operatera za isporuku širokopojasnih usluga, omogućavaju minimizaciju korištenja optičkih kablova/vlakana, i na strani operatera, i na strani pristupnih mreža, pružaju veće propusne opsege radi dublje penetracije optike u pristupni dio mreže. Poznato je da postoji više vrsta topologija, arhitektura i tehnologija PON-a. Neke od tehnologija PONa su FTTB (Fiber to the Building), FTTH (Fiber to the Home), FTTC/Cab (Fiber to the Curb/Cabinet) ili FTTN (Fiber to the Node/Neighborhood). Koja od ovih tehnologije će biti korišćena zavisi od niza elemenata i zahtjeva, u svakom slučaju težnja svakog telekom operatora je da optika dođe što bliže korisniku (najbolja varijanta je da dođe u stan-dom korisnika). Gledano sa aspekta arhitekture PON mreže mogu biti BPON (Broadband PON), ATM PON (APON), EPON (Ethernet PON)i GPON (gigabitni PON). Zadatak studenta je: Da analitički opiše pasivne optičke pristupne mreže (pojam, topologija, arhitektura i tehnologija PON-a), Da ukratko objasni sastavne elemente optičkih mreža, s akcentom na njihovu ulogu i funkciju koju vrše u PON mrežama, Detaljno analizira i objasni principe rada i elemente GPON mreže i Odabere konkretnu arhitekturu GPON optičke mreže i izvrši simulaciju njenih parametara na bazi slobodno izabranih parametara i korišćenjem MATLAB-a ili nekih drugih programskih rješenja. Analizira i objasni rezultate dobijene simulacijom i izvrši njihovu komparaciju sa teorijskim rezultatima i tvrdnjama. Koncept i metode rješavanja: Za rješavanje ovog problema studentu se preporučuje korištenje programskog paketa MATLAB ili nekog sličnog simulacionog programa. Rad se okvirno sastoji od dva dijela. Prvi dio je analitički
2 pristuppasivnih optičkih pristupnih mreža, a drugi dio simulacioni model na konkretno odabranoj topologiji GPON optičke mreže uz zadavanje realnih veličina i parametara koji karakterišu prenos signala u ovakvim mrežama. Detaljno analizira i objasni FTTHtehnologiju, njene prednosti i nedostaci u odnosu na ostale PON tehnologije. Odabere konkretnu topologiju FTTH pasivne optičke mreže i izvrši simulaciju njenih parametara na bazi MATLAB ili nekih drugih programskih rješenja u skladu sa realnim očekivanjima. Analizira i objasni rezultate dobijene simulacijom i izvrši njihovu komparaciju sa teorijskim rezultatima i tvrdnjama. Tema: Analitički pristup sistemu valnog multipleksiranjas aspekta primjene uoptičkim mrežama Sažetak: Sistemi sa tehnologijom valnog multipleksiranja (WDM) danas omogućavaju istovremeni prenos od 16 pa do 160 informacionih signala različitih protokola i bitskih brzina na različitim valnim dužinama kroz optičko vlakno. Eksperimentiše se sa sistemima koji bi prenosili nekoliko stotina, pa i do hiljadu valnih dužina istovremeno. U cilju ispunjenja zahtjeva za većim propusnim opsegom, kao rješenje problema sve više se nametala tzv. WDM tehnologija. WDM je jedan u nizu xdm (x = T, C, F ili W) tehnologija koja vrši multipleksiranje optičkih signala po parametru valne dužine. Drugim riječima, više različitih optičkih (svjetlosnih) signala različitih valnih dužina istovremeno se prenose kroz jedno optičko vlakno. S obzirom da različite valne dužine optičkih signala u suštini znače različite učestanosti (frekvencije) optičkih signala, WDM tehnika multipleksiranja nije ništa drugo do FDM (Frequency Division Multiplexing) multipleksiranje, koje je poznato već dugi niz godina. Jedinu, ali veoma značajnu razliku donose specifičnosti, koje ovoj tehnici daju optički (ne električni) signali i optička vlakna (ne koaksijalni kablovi). Valno multipleksiranje se vrši pomoću optičkih modulatora kojih ima više vrsta i načina izrade. Zadatak studenta je: Da analitički opiše pojam WDM multipleksiranja i isti komparira sa TDM multipleksiranjem. Opiše i objasni strukturu WDM sistema s posebnim akcentom na valno multipleksiranje i demultipleksiranje (optičke modulatore i demodulatore). Da objasni glavne funkcije WDM sistema. Da objasnipasivni uređaji i tehnike koje se koriste za realizaciju multipleksera talasnih dužina, odnosno: o Mach-Zehnder interferometrijska tehnika; o Filteri tankog filma (eng. Thin-Film Filters - TFF); o Difrakciona rešetka; o Optička Braggova rešetka; o Rešetka sa nizom talasovoda (eng. Arrayed waveguide gratings - AWG); o Interliveri. Analizira i objasni WDM sisteme po broju kanala koji se prenose: Gusti valni multipleks (DWDM Dense WDM) i valni multipleks sa širokim razmakom (CWDM Coarse WDM) i izvrši njihovo poređenje. Simulira i objasni rad Mach-Zehnder modulatora, po slobodnom izboru odabrane, WDM mreže kroz odabrani model na bazi MATLAB ili nekih drugih programskih rješenja.
6 Koncept i metode rješavanja: Za rješavanje ovog problema studentu se preporučuje korištenje programskog paketa MATLAB ili nekog sličnog simulacionog programa. Rad se okvirno sastoji od dva dijela. Prvi dio je analitičko razmatranje WDM sistema, a drugi dio simulacioni model Mach-Zehnder modulatoraslobodno odabrane WDM mreže primjenom principa promjene pojedinih elemenata mreže i korišćenih valnih dužina. Sarajevo, Teme za master radove Studenata II ciklusa studija koji studiraju na ETF-u u skladu sa principima Bolonjskog procesa na Odsjeku za telekomunikacije (šk.2015/16) Tema : Optički pojačavači u sistemu optičkih telekomunikacija Sažetak: U savremenim optičkim telekomunikacijskim sistemima koriste se optička vlakna (kablovi) koja imaju relativno mala slabljenja po jednom kilometru dužine. Međutim, sa povećanjem dužine optičkog vlakna dolazi i do povećanja ukupnog slabljenja koje otežava ili onemogućava kvalitetan prenos signala na veća rastojanja. Slabljenje je je kumulativna pojava - što je duži link to je veći iznos slabljenja. Tako oslabljen signal treba pojačavati i regenerirati s ciljem njegove kvalitetne i uspješne detekcije na mjestu prijema. Optički pojačavači direktno pojačavaju optički signal bez prethodne potrebe za konverzijom istog u električni domen, i mnogo su pouzdaniji i manje skupi uređaji od optoelektroničkih repetitora.za pojačanje optičkih signala koji se prenosi na većim rastojanjima koriste se optički pojačavači različitih izvedbi i vrsta kao što su poluprovodnički optički pojačavači, Ramanov i Briluenov pojačavač,erbijumom dopirani pojačavač i sl. Zadatak studenta je: Da analitički opiše pojedine vrste slabljenja u optičkim vlaknima i načine njihovog nastajanja, Analizira uticaj slabljenja na prenošeni signal sa svih aspekata, Analizira i objasni potrebu za pojačanjem optičkih signala na prenosnom putu-optičkom vlaknu, Da ukratko navede i objasni principe rada poluprovodničkih, Ramanovog i Briluenovog pojačavača, Da detaljno objasni principe rada, konstrukcijske osobine erbijumskog pojačavača, mogućnosti implementacije i njihovu ulogu u optičkim komunikacijama. Simulira rad erbijumskog (EDFA) optičkog pojačavača signala kroz odabrani programski model na bazi Optisystem-a, MATLAB-a ili nekih drugih programskih rješenja uz proizvoljno odabrane parametre simulacije. Da objasni i analizira dobijene simulacijske rezultate. Koncept i metode rješavanja: Za rješavanje ovog problema studentu se preporučuje korištenje programskog paketa MATLAB ili nekog sličnog simulacionog programa. Rad se okvirno sastoji od dva dijela. Prvi dio je analitičko rješenje uticaja slabljenja na prenos signala kroz optička vlakna kao i način pojačanja oslabljenog signala, a drugi dio simulacioni model karakteristika EDFA optičkog pojačavača kroz slobodan izbor parametara koji utiču na pojačanje optičkog pojačavača (dužina vlakna, dopiranost erbijumskim jonima, snaga pumpe i sl.).

Tema za master rad Studenata II ciklusa studija koji studiraju na ETF-u u skladu sa principima Bolonjskog procesa (ekvivalencija zvanja) na Odsjeku za telekomunikacije (šk.2014/15) Tema : Analiza solitona u optičkim vlaknima Sažetak: Izraz soliton je izveden od engleskog solitary wave (u prevodu: osamljeni val). U širem smislu, pod njim se podrazumijevaju valovi koji su ograničeni u prostoru (lokalizirani) i kreću se ne mijenjajući svoj oblik. U užem smislu, solitonima se označavaju rješenja određenih nelinearnih diferencijalnih jednadžbi (solitonskih jednadžbi) uz odgovarajuće rubne uvjete (koji osiguravaju lokaliziranost). Očigledan primjer solitona (u širem smislu riječi) jeste valni paket rješenje (linearne) d Alembertove jednadžbe u nedisperzivnoj sredini. Poznata je pojava da disperzija utiče na valni paket tako da se njegov oblik mijenja, tj. da se s vremenom širi, a njegova lokalizacija gubi. Interesantno je, međutim, da u određenim uslovima postoje nelinearni valovi čija nelinearnost upravo kompenzira disperziju, tako da val, šireći se, neograničeno zadržava svoj oblik. Ovo su solitoni u užem smislu riječi. Solitoni nude mogućnost prijenosa optičkih impulsa na velika rastojanja i sa velikim brzinama. Ugradnjom optičkih pojačavača moguće je podešavati amplitudu i oblik impulsa radi ostvarivanja nelinearne fazne interakcije zbog oblika impulsa i poništavanja disperzije, tako da se prenosi impuls konstantne amplitude i oblika. Ova tehnika zahtijeva komunikacioni medij u kojem su slabljenje i disperzija totalno kompenzirani. Osnovni problem je pretvaranje impulsa u solitonski oblik i ostvarivanje ekonomičnog rasporeda pojačavača. Zadatak studenta je: Da analitički opiše pojam, vrste i način nastanka solitona u optičkim vlaknima. Analizira solitonske jednačine, s akcentom na Schrodingerovu (Šredingerova) jednačinu. Analizira i objasni primjenu solitona u solitonskim vezama. Simulira nastanak i ponašanje solitonskog vala kroz odabrani model na bazi MATLAB ili nekih drugih programskih rješenja. Koncept i metode rješavanja: Za rješavanje ovog problema studentu se preporučuje korištenje programskog paketa MATLAB ili nekog sličnog simulacionog programa. Rad se okvirno sastoji od dva dijela.
