It s a very, very profitable place to be and you can be one of the many people who have built a hugely profitable business from the Warrior Forum. There are many people who have built an income of tens of thousands of dollars a month from running these Warrior Special Offers, or WSO s as they are known. 4

6 WSO Rules Like many of the marketing forums, there are rules associated with posting special offers on the Warrior Forum. These are there in order to protect you, the seller and anyone who buys from you. The aim of the rules isn t to make life difficult but instead to make it a safer environment for you to do business in and try to stamp out scammers. The Warrior Forum now costs $37 to join if you want to post special offers. This is a recent addition due to the number of scammers who were joining, posting offers, and running away with people s cash. This isn t a lot of money to pay really because you also get access to the War Room which is an incredibly useful resource for marketing with some really useful information. When you come to posting a WSO it will cost you $20 per offer. However, this will be easily recouped by making just a single sale or two. Of course, we re looking for substantially more than just a couple of sales! Sticking to the rules here isn t an option. Sure, you can try to flaunt the rules, but you will get caught. Then you will either be thrown off the forum and banned, which really ruins this great source of cash, or you will have your reputation trashed, which will also wreck your chances of earning and building a business. When you are running a WSO, you must sell your own product. It has to be something that you have created yourself, not something that you have bought to resell. If you have had an outsourcer create it for you and it s solely the property of you then you can sell it, but you can t sell a PLR product that you ve bought UNLESS you have MASSIVELY reworked it pretty much re-written it from scratch. You must offer a price that is better than the price the public at large can get. If you have an list you can offer the same price as you have offered your list, 6

7 but if you are selling the product on your website then you will be expected to offer it at a lower price here. Warriors are after bargains and good deals but are not expecting to steal your product from you. It goes without saying that you must not attempt to scam the warriors. Doing this will get you thrown out of the forum. If you are coming to the Warrior Forum to be business then be prepared to be polite and professional at all time it will pay off massively in the long run. All special offers have to be approved by a moderator before they can go live. You must remember that moderators are real people with lives. They have to sleep and eat too so you may find you wait a few hours for an offer to go live. Sure, this is frustrating, but just be patient, it will get approved. If it s been more than 24 hours then you are usually safe to ask a moderator what the delay is, but remember to do it in a polite and professional manner! Do not start complaining in the main forum or bombarding the moderators with s if your offer isn t approved immediately because you will alienate and annoy people who are very valuable to your future. At once stage there was a trend of using ASCII art in the titles of special offers. This practice has been banned now due to overuse by people. When creating the title of your special offer, just use normal characters and you will be fine. You are also not allowed to sell software or training materials that violate the terms of service of other websites or teaches people to do so. This basically means that products like backlink packets (which were popular) are not allowed to be sold any more here. It doesn t matter though because there are still many other types of product you can sell here. You are also not allowed to post offers for directory submissions, social bookmarking submissions or other bulk backlinking services. This is a subject that has caused a lot of controversy so you need to ensure that you keep in line with this rule. You are also not allowed to promote membership sites that buy products with rights from the Warrior Forum and then give them to their members. Again, 7

8 there were issues with a lot of sites doing this and effectively devaluing other people s offers. This practise has now been banned. These are simple rules and you do need to stick to the otherwise you will get your special offer deleted and possibly your account removed. If you have any questions about an offer and whether it is permissible or not then you need to contact a moderator and ask them. They are approachable and will help you just remember to be patient as they are busy people. Stick to this simple set of rules and you will be able to run a successful WSO that will earn you some good money. 8

9 Components Of A Successful WSO When it comes to running a warrior special offer you want to make sure that you maximize your chances of income from it. You want to ensure that you make as much money as possible, because then you have a higher return on investment. Initially, your may find your offers only make a few hundred dollars, if that, but as you post more in the forum and build a reputation then you will be make more money from your special offers. Don t worry if your first couple of offers only make you a couple of hundred bucks. Keep posting in the forum and building your name and you will make more and more money from them. A successful warrior special offer comprises of an offer that over delivers in terms of value. It really needs to be the sort of offer which makes people go WOW and grabs their attention. Remember that over-delivery is the watchword of the successful marketer. This will build you an excellent reputation which will only help future sales. You are going to be asked questions about your offer and likely receive feedback and comments. When you get these, make sure that you respond to them rapidly. It is worth making your offer live when you have a few hours to sit in front of the computer and answer questions. Often answering these early questions rapidly can make a big difference in how successful your offer is. Remember that whenever you deal with anyone on the Warrior Forum you are also professional and polite with a can do attitude. This is surprisingly important because there are lots of big name marketers and other people watching what is going on without necessarily participating. A good attitude can often lead to joint ventures and other partnerships in the future. A bad attitude can lead to you being put on other marketers do not do business with list. 11 What To Sell As A WSO? When it comes to what to sell for a Warrior special offer, you need to put your thinking cap on. Now obviously the rules of posting a special offer limit what you can do. You can t open a membership site selling resale rights to offers you buy from the Warrior Forum. You can t sell directory or social bookmarking submissions or backlink packages, but there are still many, many things that you can sell. Firstly, go to the WSO section and have a look at the popular offers. What are selling well? What are there are a lot of offers for at the moment? 12 You can see from this page that Wordpress is popular there s a theme and a plugin for sale. Now, they may not be your cup of tea, so what other ideas are there? As you scroll through the offers you will see that anything that will get you traffic or money quickly / reliably is very popular. What skills or experience do you have in this field that you can offer here? Have you found an untapped or little used source of traffic that you could share for a profit? Warriors are always after content so you could provide a service to record videos, write articles, write books, write autoresponder series and so on. There are plenty of opportunities there. You can sell private label rights (PLR) to them and after making a few PLR offers you could even open your own membership site, providing this content every month for a fee. If you limit the number of members to say 100 and don t have a full membership one month you can run another special offer for the remaining packs of PLR material and recruit new members! So you can see how it is possible to build your business from this and step away from running special deals and in to running a proper business. Basically, you need to take stock of your skills, abilities and knowledge. What do you know that people would be willing to pay for? What service can you provide that people will be willing to pay for? Think about this and you will have a great product on your hands. A strategy I found effective was to offer PLR to a video set I created as a Warrior special offer. I advertised 50 copies at $47 a piece. It was my first WSO and I sold about ten copies, which wasn t bad. It was around $450 profit, before paypal fees. I followed this up a week later with another package, this time including sales letter and professional graphics (outsourced for $50). I advertised 50 copies at $47 each again. As I had some positive feedback from the previous offer, I used that in the WSO copy. This time I sold 25 copies which equalled $2280 profit after costs. 12

13 Nice huh? This took some time to make though, sales would trickle in over about a week or so. For each of the previous offers I encouraged people to sign up for my PLR notification list. For the next video set I tried something more audacious. Again, I offered PLR videos with sales letter and graphics. This time I offered non transferable PLR rights to just 5, yes just five, people for $197 each. I ed my PLR notification list and told them about the new offer. Within an hour I had made $800! The last copy sold out in the second hour and I closed the WSO, i.e. removed the buy link. I replaced it with a message that told people the offer had sold out and to subscribe to my PLR notification list. A week later, I ran another similar offer and sold out in an hour again, $1000 richer. A good start. I then decided I d offer a custom product creation service, so that for $497 I would create a video product for warriors. I decided to offer 5 packages because I didn t want to take on too much work and not deliver. Again, I ed my PLR notification list as soon as the offer had gone live and within 24 hours had sold out all 5 packages ($2,500) all up front and had a waiting list of around 5 people! I ran a few more offers like this, including a 3 part video series totalling around 40+ videos which sold for $400 a copy (7 copies sold which equals $2,800) and ended up building a business where I was recording products for clients each month, including big name marketers. I then started to create my own products and used my contacts with my video creation clients to start marketing the products. Before I knew it I had a successful business on my hands. 13

14 So you can see how it is possible to take a simple WSO and turn it in to a profitable business. You need to think about what you can offer and then build on it. You may have to think outside of the box, but you will come up with some great ideas and be able to take a WSO and make it in to a successful business yourself. All you need to do is take action, be professional and polite and you can use the Warrior Forum as a springboard to success. 14

15 Pricing Your WSO How you price your special offer will make a big difference in how well your offer sells. You must remember it needs to represent a special price that isn t available to the public at large. You need to ensure that it represents value for money and that you over deliver with whatever it is you are selling. This over delivery will make sure you get positive comments in your WSO thread and help you make more sales both with your current offer and future offers. There are a number of different strategies you can take with running a WSO which depends upon what you want to achieve from your offer. Do you want to make money now, build a list to make longer term money or what? You need to have a strategy in mind before you start your WSO. When an offer goes live it is very hard for you to decrease the price because that sends a negative message to the Warriors and will harm future offers. To start with, use the advanced search facility 15

16 This will help you to find products related to the one you are planning to sell. Look at the pricing strategies they are using and see how they have worked. Have they been well received or did people not like them? That will help you determine what you do with your offer. If you have spent some time posting in the main section of the forum, hopefully you will have built up a bit of a reputation and be known as a marketer. This will help you immensely with selling your offer because people are more likely to buy from a name they find familiar than from a name they don t. Firstly you need to be aware of some of the basics of pricing. If you are producing something that is limited in availability then it will have a higher price associated with it. Think about companies that release limited edition, collectors items they always have a higher price tag. If you are limiting the availability, i.e. a low number of products are available, then you can charge a higher price. If you are making the distribution wider, i.e. a higher number of products are available, then the price will typically be lower. This is the basics of pricing your special offer and then you can take it to the next level with a few tips and tricks. For example, you could run your WSO as a dimesale so that the price increases every XX minutes or hours or sales. This is effective because people will want to grab the offer early. It encourages people to get in early, before the rush because the price is low. It also encourages people to post in your thread because people will want to brag that they got your offer at a crazy low price. Another popular strategy is to increase the price ever so many buyers. This is a very popular one and is illustrated in the picture below. 16

17 This is from a very popular offer, which you can see has sold well. This strategy is very good again because it encourages people to buy quickly. However, whatever pricing strategy you decide upon, STICK TO IT! Don t decide you will offer it to the first 10 for $27 and then fail to increase the price for the next ten buyers. That is fatal. People need to know you are serious! If someone s you complaining they didn t get in at the lower price you just have to tell them that you are sorry but it wouldn t be fair to other warriors to let them in at the discount price but they can join your list for notification of future offers so that they don t miss out on the lower price! These types of strategies can make a big difference in the number of sales you make and can get people s attention and even encourage them to buy. You should definitely experiment with different pricing strategies and see how they affect your sales. 17

18 Creating Your WSO When it comes to creating your WSO you need to ensure that whatever your WSO is, you have created it 100% yourself. If you are tempted to resell something or barely rewrite some PLR then expect to be caught out and have your WSO removed and your reputation trashed. How you create your WSO will depend on what type of offer it is. You may draw upon some PLR material and re-work it but make sure it is reworked significantly. Posting your WSO is as simple as opening a thread in the special offer section and writing in your sales letter. On this forum you can t use HTML code in your sales letter, but you have to use BB code. This is a markup code which has much in common with HTML but uses slightly different tags. Some of the more common tags are listed on the next page. The full list including how to use it is found at You need to look at some of the more successful offers and look at how they are laid out in order to get an idea of what works. Basically, you need a large red headline to grab people s attention followed by a slightly smaller headline in either black or blue text. This pulls people in and then you need your sales copy. Don t try and hype up a product here. Just be factual without being too over the top. Remember you are dealing with professional marketers who can spot hype a mile away! 18

19 Make sure you include testimonials in your offer too. This social proof will help you to make more sales. You can contact other warriors before you launch and ask them to review your product and provide a testimonial. Find people in the forum who are posting on topics similar to your offer and approach them. If when you launch your WSO you can use positive comments as testimonials though just check with the author to make sure they are happy for you to do so. It s a courtesy which will reflect well upon you if you do so. Writing your WSO is like writing any other sales letter. If you are not comfortable with writing copy then you either need to train yourself or hire someone to do it for you. 19

20 Marketing Your WSO Once your WSO is ready to go, then you need to start marketing it. Sure, you want wait for people to stumble across it in the special offers section, but if you want to maximize your traffic and earnings you have to market it. The best way to do this on the Warrior Forum is to edit your signature and put a link to your post in it. Make sure there is some text telling people why they need to click through and visit your site. It s the best way to get warrior traffic. Once you ve edited your signature it s time to go play in the forum. You need to join in pretty much as many conversations as you can. You are particularly looking for threads that are related to your WSO. When you join in the discussion make sure that you are adding value to the conversation. Don t just make posts saying, Great post or Agree because they don t add any value or show your expertise. All they are doing is giving you the chance to advertise your link a bit too blatantly which will not get you clicks. When you demonstrate your expertise and show that you know what you are talking about, people are more likely to click through on your link to your WSO. When people read a post that they find interesting and useful they tend to look at the signature and want to find out more about the writer because they are interested in learning. So it is up to you to add value to the forum in order to get people to click through to your website. If you have a list then you can your list and notify them of your special offer. If they are previous buyers then you are likely to get them to buy again if they received excellent value the first time around. 20

21 When your special offer disappears on to page 3, if it has sold well and made you some money you may want to consider bumping it up. Bumping is where you pay another $20 for it to appear on the first page again. This is better than running the same WSO again because you keep the page views and the comments in the thread. This is how you see offers with tens of thousands of views in. Before you launch the WSO if you can get some testimonials from people who are known within the forum it will help to make the sales. Once your WSO has launched, try to gather some of the positive comments and use them as testimonials in the sales letter. These will help you to convert viewers in to buyers. Always remember that you have to test and double check everything to make sure it works. The last thing you want is the first ten comments on your offer all complaining that something doesn t work. That is not going to help sales. You want the first few comments to all be glowingly positive. People not only read your sales letter, but they also read the comments. If they see a lot of negative comments or problems that haven t been rapidly addressed and solved, then they are unlikely to buy. A part of marketing your WSO is to ensure that you are there to answers questions as soon as your offer goes live. You really need to subscribe to your own thread and set it to notify you via as soon as a comment is made. This will allow you to respond as soon as possible. However, do be prepared to wait a little while for your offer to go live the mods don t just sit there waiting for offers to come in, they have lives too! Make sure that you answer any questions you get in a professional and polite manner. Remember people will be reading your responses and basing their buying decision on your answers. Therefore, your answers need to be good, professional and help convince people to buy! 21

22 Delivering Your Product One of the issues people often face with a special offer is how do they deliver it. This is a very important part of the WSO and important if you want to make your offer a success. If your delivery mechanism is poor, then you will struggle to make sales as your thread will get full of negative comments. Now you can deliver a WSO manually, but this is not a good idea. Remember you have to sleep, eat and maybe go to a job. People don t like to wait. In our digital era, people want instant gratification and marketers know there is no reason whey a product can t be instantly delivered. Manual delivery is going to cause people to get frustrated and annoyed because they haven t got their product. When people buy something they are in a buying mood and are likely to read it and post a comment on your thread almost straight away. If they have to wait several hours for it, by the time it s arrived, they ll have forgotten about it and not be in the mood for it. This will reduce the number of comments on your thread. Not only is it going to cause issues for your special offer, but it s also giving you extra work! If you make a thousand sales, that means you have to send out a thousand different s delivering the product. So manual delivery isn t really a good idea. Your best bet is to deliver your WSO automatically. One method is to use a Paypal redirect, but this is very limiting and not secure. Sure you can encrypt your Paypal button, but it s not rocket science to unencrypt it to reveal the download page. Alternatively you can use a service such as WSO Pro. This is a special service designed for warriors running offers and amongst the many things it offers you, 22

23 it will take care of delivery for you. This could be a good idea for reasons we will discuss later on. There are services such as ejunkie which you can use as well. This is used by many warriors and will take care of delivery and payment for you. If you don t want to put your offer on any of your domains then this could be an ideal solution. It s a quick and easy solution that is reliable and secure. If you have a bit more money or you have already bought some software then you want to consider software such as DLGuard or Amember. This is software that provides for secure delivery of products. It s an excellent form of delivering your product whilst minimizing the chances of it all going wrong. The software isn t cheap, but you will only need a single copy for all your WSO s. Having automatic delivery in place will ensure that people think of you as a professional marketer. Remember you are dealing with marketers and they will expect automatic delivery. Anything other than this will raise a red flag and make them realise they are not dealing with a professional. Also, ensure you test everything related to delivery before you launch your offer. Does the file download properly? Does the download page load properly? Are all the links working? And so on. Spending a few minutes up front testing everything will save you a lot of time and problems later on. 23

24 Grow Your List One of the best uses of a Warrior special offer is that it is an opportunity to capture leads and build a list. This is a great way to start building a targeted list of qualified buyers, which is something every Internet marketer should have. When it comes to building your list, don t force them to sign up to your list to get your product. This is going to annoy people and build a list of junk addresses. The only time you can do this is if you are running a free WSO. You want to have a sign up form prominently displayed on your download page with some persuasive copy to get them to sign up. Show them that if they sign up they will get updates, training materials and so on. Don t bombard them with information and overwhelm them, but give them valuable information. If you send them every offer that passes then they are going to quickly unsubscribe. Send them valuable information is more likely to keep them on your list longer and more likely to buy future products. Once you have started to build a list then you are in a position to start doing ad swaps or finding JV partners in order to increase your list. The money really is in your list so you need to build it up as much as you can so it is full of qualified, targeted leads. Remember that quality if preferable to quantity. When you have a list you can them whenever you run new offers or create new products. You can also market carefully selected affiliate products that they would be interested in to further increase your income. A list is a very valuable source of income and one that you should always be focusing on building. Look after your list and they will look after you too. 24

25 What Not To Do With A WSO We ve spent a lot of time now talking about what to do to make your WSO successful, but what is it that you should avoid doing? There are common mistakes people make when running WSO s and here you will learn what they are so you can avoid them and make sure your offer is right the first time. Firstly, make sure you are fully aware of all the rules of running a special offer and that your offer does not breach any of their rules. If you are in any doubt, contact a mod who will help you out and answer your questions. Remember to keep the conversation because if there are any issues later on you can prove what you were told. Whatever you sell as a special offer must be something that you have either created yourself or have had created for you by an outsourcer. You can t sell anything you didn t create. This is important because if you don t adhere to this rule you will be shot down in flames, your thread locked / deleted and possibly banned from the forum, which is the last thing you want. Remember that you are dealing with professional marketers and so you too need to be a professional marketer no matter what level of ability you are at. Always be polite, professional an honest because you are working on building relationships with the other marketers on the forum. With the right attitude you can find yourself running joint ventures and partnerships with other warriors that could make you a lot of money. Whatever you do, don t get angry on the Warrior Forum either. If you are about to write a post in anger, walk away and come back to it later when you have calmed down. It can take you long time to repair the damage an angry post could do to your reputation, if you can repair it at all. 25

26 Make sure whatever offer you run over delivers. Provide amazing customer service and value in your product. By over delivering and providing superb value you will find that your offer goes well and you build a good reputation, which is only going to help you in the future. Never ignore comments or technical support requests. Doing so will irritate people and prompt them to leave negative comments in your WSO which will harm it. Always be prompt answering these questions because it will help you to build a professional relationship which will help you build a long term sustainable business. Remember there are many marketers who are earning 5 figures a month who started by running special offers. With the right attitude and approach, they ve created that business and you could do the same. 26

How do you take this to the next level and turn it in to a serious business? Well, we discussed earlier on about building a list do it, it s vital.
