2 DUA AFTER WUDHU O Allah! Make me among those who repent a lot and make me among those who are very clean and make me among Your pious servants and make me among those upon whom there will be no fear nor will they regret (on the Day of Qiyaamat). 3 I seek the Protection of Allah from Shaytaan the accursed one TASMEE OF RUKU Allah listens to the one who praises Him TASMIYAH In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful TASBEEH OF RUKU Glory be to my Lord, Most Gracious, with all His Praises TAHMEED OF RUKU (Read after coming up from Ruku) TASBEEH OF SAJDA Glory be to my Lord, the Most High DUA OF JALSA 5 6

4 (Between two Sujood) O Allah! Forgive me and have mercy upon me. Grant me safety, good health, and make good my shortcomings. Grant me sustenance and guide me towards all good AT-TAHIYYAT (Tashahhud).. All blessed oral, physical and monetary prayers belong to Allah. Peace be upon you O Prophet of Allah, and the Mercy and Blessings of Allah. Peace be upon us as well as upon the pious servants of Allah. I testify that there is none worthy of worship but Allah; and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. (When saying the words raise the forefinger and keep it raised till the end. After 7 8

5 reciting Tashahhud, recite the Durood and Dua as mentioned below: DUROOD O Allah! Send Durood upon our Master Muhammad and upon the family of our Master Muhammad just as you had sent Durood upon our Master Ibraheem and on the family of our Master Ibraheem. And send Blessings upon our Master Muhammad and upon the family of our Master Muhammad, just as you had Blessed our Master Ibraheem and the family of our Master Ibraheem in all the worlds. Verily You are the Most Praiseworthy and Majestic. DUA AFTER DUROOD 9 10

6 O Allah! I seek protection in You from the punishment of the grave and from the punishment of Jahannam, and I seek protection in You from the evil of Maseeh Dajjaal, and I seek protection in You from the evils of life and death. Say ASTAGHFIRULLAH three times. Then say the following dua: O Allah! You are Peace, and from You comes all peace, You are Most Holy, O Master of Honour and Glory. SALAAM Peace be upon you and the Mercy of Allah Also say SUBHANALLAH 33 times, ALHAMDU LILLAH 33 times and ALLAHU AKBAR 34 times. Read AYATUL KURSI once and LAA ILAHA ILLALLAHU 10 times. 7 O Allah! Guide us among those whom You have guided, protect us among those whom You have protected, befriend us among those whom You have befriended; grant us blessings in what You have given us, save us from the evil You have decreed. For indeed, You decree and none decrees above You. Never is he disgraced whom You take as your friend; and never does he gain respect whom You oppose. Blessed are You O our Lord, and exalted. So praise be unto Thee for what You have decreed, we seek the forgiveness of Allah and we turn to Him in repentance. May Allah send durood and salaam upon our Master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions

8 JANAAZA SALAAH DUAS 1. INTENTION (NIYYAH) I intend to offer the faradh janaazah salaah for this dead person with four takbeers, for the sake of Allah Ta ala. 2. FIRST TAKBEER 3. READ AND THEN SURAH FAATIHAH. 4. SECOND TAKBEER 5. DUROOD UPON NABI MUHAMMAD (SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WA SALLM) AS IN SALAAH: 15 16

9 THE SHORTEST DUROOD THAT IS VALID IS: 6. THEN READ THE FOLLOWING DUA: O Allah! Forgive our living and our dead, our present and our absent ones, our little ones and our big people, our males and our females. O Allah! Whoever You keep alive among us, keep him/her alive on the Deen of Islam; and whosoever You cause to die among us, let him/her die on Iemaan. 7. THEREAFTER READ THIS DUA: 17 18

10 [For females say the word wherever the words or appear, for example:... O Allah! Forgive him; have mercy upon him; grant him protection; overlook his faults; make his stay in the grave an honorable one; widen his resting place; wash him with water, ice, and snow; cleanse him from sin like a white cloth is cleansed from dirt. Give him a better house than the one he had, and a better family than the one he had, a better wife than the one he had. Enter him into Paradise and save him from the punishment of the grave, the questioning of the grave and from the punishment of Hell-fire. 8. If the dead is a minor boy (a boy who has not yet become Baalig) then read the first Dua mentioned earlier, then recite the following: 19 20

11 O Allah! Make this boy a reward that will go ahead for his parents, and a source of good deeds in the past and make him a treasure of the Hereafter, a means of advice, a lesson, and an intercessor. Make the scales of his parents heavy through him. Cast sabr onto the hearts of his parents. Do not test them after him, nor deprive them of this reward. 21
