We have an extensive portfolio of clients ranging from top hotel chains, universities, schools and cruise ships, through to local authorities. Here at Mattison we work to a stringent environmental policy ensuring, where possible, that waste is recycled. All our beds are manufactured on site at our purpose built factory in the heart of Ipswich, Suffolk, by our highly skilled work force, and delivered nationwide via our own transport fleet. We also export to various countries worldwide. Our beds are produced using the very best in raw materials, with our cover tickings having been carefully selected for each range to offer both durability and style. Flame retardancy It is a legal requirement that hotel beds conform to appropriate standards of flame retardancy, as set out in British Standard BS7177 (2008). All beds in this catalogue comply with Ignition source 5 some offer even higher standards, unlike those sold for domestic use in normal retail shops which do not comply with these high standards. Careful research and years of experience have proved that hotel beds need to be different from those in a domestic environment. Our specifications are to a very high standard, from heavy sections of timber in the base to the reinforced handles on the mattress. Materials and construction comply with the latest British Standard or CEN standards where applicable. Delivery Delivery is free of charge (except on orders of less than 500, when a small charge is made) to any location in the UK with reasonable vehicular access; no order is too large or too small. Assembly of our beds is simple and straightforward, requiring no special tools. However, we will be pleased to quote for siting and erecting in individual rooms, if required. For ease of handling we firmly advise that all double, deep divan bases are manufactured in two halves. Service We are one of the few manufacturers who employ area representatives, who are at your service throughout the country. They can offer free advice, free bed surveys and will ensure your order is delivered when required and, should there be any problems, these will be dealt with promptly. Spring options Fundamental to the comfort and durability of the bed is the spring unit, at the heart of the mattress. Our beds incorporate a variety of springs, in conjunction with carefully chosen upholstery materials, to offer the best in terms of comfort and value for money. Zipping and linking or velcro and linking is available on all models within our range. Contract Endeavour & Discovery Mattison Contract Beds have produced a range of contract specification memory foam mattresses, designed to offer your guests the same level of comfort as a domestic memory foam mattress, with the fire retardancy level and durability of a contract model. Both the Endeavour and the Discovery feature a base of Reflex foam, topped with a luxurious layer of memory Visco foam (Endeavour: 90mm layer, Discovery: 70mm; see cross sections). The Contract Endeavour is shown on our Zara divan base with optional round chrome legs. ENDEAVOUR foam: 220mm depth, made up of 130mm V30F (peaked) bonded to 90mm Visco 55. DISY foam: 200mm depth, made up of 130mm V30F bonded to 70mm Visco 55. Both mattresses feature microquilted top and sides with wool interliner (non-removable cover). The 'Neptune' is shown here with a shallow platform top divan base complete with factory fitted height adjustable legs: This independent manual action offers 11", 14" or 17" clearance under the bed giving adequate space for a hoist to be used. Also featured is our 'Ottoman' base option to be used in conjunction with the Neptune mattress. The Ottoman base is the ultimate in storage solutions giving complete base storage with hinged lid with either spring loaded or gas filled struts and a matching support pin to stop the mattress from slipping when in the open position. Now featuring a central support leg on either side of the bottom bunk, and optional side brace (not shown), this is a secure, stylish member of the Mattison range. Available in a stylish silver finish, in both 2 6 x 6 3 (75cm x 190cm) and 3 0 x 6 3 (90cm x 190cm) widths. We offer a comprehensive range of base options, leg options and base colours as well as headboards, pillows, pillow protectors and mattress protectors. Whatever your requirements you can be sure Mattison Beds offer you a service and choice that s second to none. Leg options Shown below are a number of leg options for use with all shallow divan bases, that are available throughout the Mattison range. All screw fix legs are secured into a fixing plate which is screwed into hardwood timber to give maximum strength. Once a leg is located and screwed into the plate it locks into place. The leg will then not be able to work loose.
