2 IMPORTANT The information here presented must be read, revised and carefully followed by the people and companies involved in the production of this show with the purpose of achieving a successful concert. The technical rider has been designed as a production guide that allows for the appropriate technical and logistical organization, and that is an essential and inseparable part of MITU s show contract. It is very IMPORTANT to fulfill the conditions here described to guarantee the quality of the show and if you have any doubt or are unable to fulfill any of the requirements, feel free to contact the management at least 7 days in advance. 1. SECURITY: The PROMOTER of the event will guarantee the security of the crew, equipment and personal belongings of MITÚ during the day of the show providing security staff on stage and backstage. It is necessary for the security staff to be present before doors open the day of the show. 3. TICKETS: The PROMOTER will provide the band 5 VIP tickets and 4 badges with access onstage, backstage, FOH area and VIP area. These tickets shall be handed previously to MITU s management. 4. MERCHANDISING: MITÚ, reserves the right to sell its own merchandising inside the venue before, during and after the show. This includes t-shirts, CD s, etc. This exclusivity means that it is prohibited for any similar merchandising of the artist to be sold by the promoter or third parties unless there has been a previous negotiation with the band s management. 5. FLYING REQUIREMENTS: The PROMOTER will provide 4 flying round tickets for the band (see crew list). These tickets must include airline charges, permissions, taxes, etc. The band s management shall previously approve all flying tickets. Please do not provide low cost tickets since the band travels with very fragile professional equipment that is 100 KG above the usual traveling weight permitted. We suggest to book the flights in airlines that allow minimum two (2) bags per person and are flexible with overweight situations. The band travels with equipment and instruments. 6. HOTEL: The PROMOTER shall provide accommodation for the band and its crew in a 3 star hotel (minimum) in four single bedrooms. The hotel should preferably be nearby the venue and provide breakfast service. (See rooming list). 7. PER DIEMS: The PROMOTER shall give 40 USD (or its equivalent in local currency) PER DIEMS, including travelling days, to the 4 members of the crew. These PER DIEMS should be handed in to the manager or tour manager at the band s arrival. / Bogotá, Colombia 2

3 8. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION: During the band s stay, the PROMOTER shall provide a van for MITÚ comfortable enough for 4 passengers and their personal and professional equipment. 9. BACKSTAGE: The PROMOTER shall provide one comfortable dressing room available for 6 people and the band s equipment. The room should have comfortable seats, a full-length mirror, power outlets and a private bathroom. All efforts to make the dressing room as homely and comfortable as possible will be greatly appreciated. 4 TECHNICAL RIDER, BACKLINE & LIGHTS MITÚ We strongly suggest to keep in copy the management through out all technical mailing: 1. REQUIRED LABOR: -1 Producer with the capacity to take any technical and logistic decision and with full knowledge of the band s requirements for the show. -1 Sound engineer (F.O.H. and monitors) from the audio company with full operative knowledge of the audio system -1 Loader/assistant to help during the band s setup and technical assistance onstage. -1 Lighting engineer from the lightning company with full operative knowledge of the system. -1 Person in charge of backstage and hospitality. 2. STAGE: Fort he band s show we will need a stage of 6.00 meters. wide by 4.80 meters. deep. The stage should be leveled and have access stairs on the sides. For outdoors shows, the stage must be covered with a proper roof to protect all equipment. NOTE: the best conditions shall be arranged with the band s management for shows in bars and clubs providing enough information about the venue to take the necessary technical decisions. 3. HOUSE SYSTEM: The PROMOTER shall provide a professional house system. The audio equipment must be able to reach 110 db at the FOH console. The system should be wired for 3 ways stereo operation and electronically processed. The FOH sound system and monitors should be checked, processed and working appropriately 1 hour before the band s sound check. The system and console must be ready and available for the band at their arrival for sound check. 4. F.O.H. AND MONITOR SYSTEM: 1 PROFESSIONAL MIXER digital or analogue IN PERFECT CONDITIONS for FOH and monitors. 4 x Monitors coax 15 2 x Side Fills Systems (3 ways w/subwoofers) 4 x Microphones (Voice y percussion) 5. SOUNDCHECK: The sound check will last approximately one hour and it is necessary to have the audio equipment working correctly at this time. While the band is sound checking the only people allowed onstage will be: the band, the band s staff, audio technicians, and backline and lighting operators. 6.
