FROM SLAVERY TO FREEDOM ISSUE MISSION CONCEPT SOLUTION FUNDING 501 (c) 3
THE QUESTIONS WHAT IS CHILD TRAFFICKING? Child trafficking, also known as Modern Day Slavery, occurs when someone profits from forcing a child to perform sex, labor, or services. WHY DOES CHILD TRAFFICKING REQUIRE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION AND ACTION? The average age of a trafficking victim is 11 to 14. The average life span of a victim is 3 to 7 years (found dead from attack, abuse, HIV and other STD s, malnutrition, overdose or suicide.) HOW DOES CHILD TRAFFICKING IMPACT COMMUNITIES? Traffickers usually participate in many other illegal activities, including drug and weapons trafficking and money laundering. Trafficking encourages widespread corruption and threatens the security of vulnerable populations. WHAT CAN BE DONE? As a United Coalition in the Fight Against Human Trafficking we all can become the voice of countless victims and help return them to freedom. Before we can begin to solve the problem, we have to be sure we are asking the right questions.
THE ISSUES - There is a Problem - Child Trafficking for the Sex Trade Industry - Traffickers are the Enemy! - Too Many People and Too Many Opinions - Denial and Statistical Debates - Who Suffers... Abducted Children! - This is Not a Turf War Between Government & Non-Government Organizations - We Need a Consortium - The Coalition will fight the Traffickers! Every two minutes a child from the United States is trafficked for the purpose of human exploitation. - U.S. Department of Justice

OUR STORY In 2005, three freshly retired career servicemen from the United States Army Special Operations Command decided to team up to recover children from the sex trafficking industry. On the day of their retirement, the three Special Operations Soldiers drove out the front gate of MacDill Air Force Base for the last time and went to dinner. They reflected on the past and discussed the prospects of what their next career might be and in time would be absolutely amazed at what would become the next chapter in their lives. During dinner, they looked up at the TV and the news headline stated, The human and sex trafficking industry is a $30-billion-dollar industry and cannot be stopped. The dinner conversation turned to discussions of the tragedies they had witnessed throughout the world, in places like Rwanda, Somalia, Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Chechnya. Human Trafficking was one of those many tragedies. The discussion continued about the rapid growth of the industry and its reach to the U.S. They collectively agreed to spend the remainder of their lives fighting the child sex trafficking industry a fight that can be won. It was clear to them that the motivation and commitment that faithfully carried them through their careers would now carry them through the next chapter in life. Their background as Special Operations Soldiers in the Armed Forces, fighting wrongdoing and evil all over the globe, gave them the confidence and skill set to tackle this problem. The three also believed the taxpayers of America had invested a lot of money into their training over their 25 year careers and it was time to pay it back. They felt compelled to continue their dedication to the country through fighting a cause that affected Americans everywhere, including the most precious ones our children. For the next two years, they spent their time and resources building an organization to combat the child sex trade industry. In 2007, they unveiled Phantom Rescue, Inc. a non-profit organization designed to deploy professionally trained teams to travel globally and recover children who have been kidnapped into the sex trafficking industry and bring them home.
THE NEXT CHAPTER In 2013, Phantom Rescue knew it must continue to evolve in order to combat human trafficking. The organization rescued 49 trafficked children, both domestically and internationally, but needed additional funding and resources to continue its mission. The mission had now expanded from the rescue of children, to include education, awareness, deterrence, and reclamation. The Phantom Rescue team knew they needed assistance so they turned to a close friend and contributor, Steve Resnick. It took few words to convince Steve to join the fight. Steve s initial concern was that there are many organizations fighting child trafficking in the same manner, and realized that not one organization or select group of organizations on their own could tackle one of the greatest injustices known to mankind. Their goal became to build an organization that would form alliances across the global anti human trafficking community. That coalition would provide a cultural shift in education and awareness. They spent the next two years planning and preparing, collaborating with public, private, and government entities to rally support. Steve held to his word and formed a new organization -- ERASE Child Trafficking. ERASE Child Trafficking was formed to ignite a universal approach to education, awareness, and deterrence of the child trafficking industry, and to work to reclaim shattered lives of children and families.
OUR MISSION ERASE S MISSION IS TO BE A UNIFYING VOICE CREATING A CULTURAL SHIFT IN THE PERCEPTION OF CHILD TRAFFICKING, WORKING TOWARDS ITS ERADICATION BY EMPOWERING ACTION AGAINST THIS INHUMANITY THROUGH EDUCATION, RESCUE AND LIFE RECLAMATION. OUTREACH. We educate across communities to prevent child trafficking. COLLABORATE. We synthesize child trafficking data from a network of worldwide organizations. FACILITATE. In returning children back to society, we help restore childhood. Unless we treat the child s physical, emotional, and psychological needs our efforts will fail.
THREE PILLARS TO COMBAT HUMAN TRAFFICKING EDUCATE RECOVER RECLAIM
EDUCATE FROM APATHY TO ACTION Human trafficking is a worldwide crisis operating as a vast underground network to exploit children for sex slavery. We help raise public awareness of this crisis through training seminars, social media, and distribution of education materials around high target areas. In doing so we can teach, share, and help save lives. ERASE aims to empower people with knowledge through Prevention Education and Professional Training. With Prevention Education we can provide tools to parents and children that help them better understand the truths of human trafficking and how to protect themselves. Providing Professional Training is crucial in the fight against human trafficking. There is a lack of awareness in the professional community in identifying children who are at high risk. ERASE s training will help professionals by explaining the contributing factors of human trafficking, vulnerabilities, recruitment tactics, and common signs of trafficking victims.
EDUCATE Target Areas Hotels and Motels Trains and Bus Stations Taxis and Ride Sharing Services Cargo and Cruise Ships Business and Tourism Events Concert Venues Sports Venues Airports and Airlines Audience Parents Children Law Enforcement Fire and Rescue Personnel Hospital and Medical Personnel Schools and Community Centers Hospitality Industry Personnel 6% $1,700 TO TRAIN ONE GROUP OF PROFESSIONALS ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING EDUCATION AND AWARENESS We all know this is real, why are we in denial? We must address it.
RECOVER FROM DESPAIR TO HOPE Recovering children from trafficking is critical to ending this problem. Our team has extensive experience recovering children from trafficking situations in cooperation with local, state, and federal authorities. And when recovering children overseas, we always work with the host nation authorities. ERASE has expertise in rescuing children from trafficking situations through our partnership with Phantom Rescue, Inc. Phantom s experience and unique background provides a very specialized set of skills that come from Retired and Former U.S. Military s Special Operations (Special Forces, Rangers, SEALs, SFOD-D (DELTA), Special Operations Aviation, and Army Intelligence), U.S. State Department Embassies and Consulates, State Law Enforcement, Federal Joint Task Force on Internet Crimes against Children and Cyber Crimes, FBI, and CIA. Recovery is an extremely detailed process that requires sophisticated information gathering. Therefore, it is our goal to collaborate and share information with all agencies involved in anti child trafficking initiatives. In the end, we desire a global movement of public, government, and private agencies dedicated to ending this human atrocity.
RECOVER Target Areas and Audience Everyone - Our children are our future and deserve to live a life of freedom 27% $20,000 - $50,000 TO RECOVER ONE CHILD FROM SEX TRAFFICKERS Yes, we will stay mad until we bring this atrocity to an end!
RECLAIM FROM HURT TO HEAL We take a delicate and compassionate approach to facilitating individualized immediate care for victims of human trafficking. This approach recognizes that victims often need medical assistance to address a myriad of trauma issues including Physical and Emotional Abuse, Forced Drug Addition, Sexual Abuse, Effects of Captivity and Isolation, Stockholm Syndrome, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. We have partnered with treatment facilities across the United States and overseas to ensure all levels of care are available for victims of human trafficking. According to the Polaris Project, the Washington D.C. agency that monitors human trafficking cases, only 529 shelter beds in the U.S. are exclusively dedicated to trafficking survivors. Twenty-eight states have no shelters or services for survivors. It is ERASE s goal to create safe housing and provide long term aftercare for victims of trafficking. A shelter house named for the donor can be secured with a gift of $500,000.

GLOBAL DATA FUSION AND COLLABORATION CENTER This Center works closely with our worldwide network of organizations across public and private industry to collaborate and exchange information in support of combating child trafficking. Specifically, we capture hotline information, data on missing children, abduction trends and analysis, risk mitigation efforts surrounding key human trafficking venues, trafficker profiles, and global rescue initiatives. ERASE will launch a deterrence phone app, adding to its 24/7 Emergency Tip Line, to capture child trafficking data. Information gathered through the app allows us immediate access to suspicious sex trafficking activity and the ability to rally recovery support when needed. We amass data on child traffickers, purchasers, high incident locations, and profiles of children most likely to be abducted. Most important, analysis and sharing data allows precise pinpointing of children for rescue.
GLOBAL DATA FUSION AND COLLABORATION CENTER Target Areas and Audience Law Enforcement Government Agencies Anti Child Trafficking Organizations 27% $3,334 TO OPERATE THE GLOBAL DATA FUSION AND COLLABORATION CENTER PER DAY While we argue over statistical data, more children are taken every day.
