A comprehensive managed service that is part of Motorola s m-commerce platform, Motorola s Mobile Loyalty Solution allows you to digitize membership cards and send them directly to your customer s mobile phone. The customer opts into the loyalty program either online or in the store by text messaging a short code, and indicates they would like to receive offers on their mobile phone. The new loyalty customer then receives a mobile application with a barcode on their mobile phone that acts as the customer s unique identifier or, in essence, the mobile loyalty card. Now that the customer has opted into the program, there is no need for paper coupons or plastic loyalty cards, which saves printing costs, and reduces mailing time and expense.
