1 RAID5 Scaling Objective: Show Linear Scaling of extremesan in RAID 5 sets under increasing load Config: 4 volumes of 4 drive RAID 5, 4 initiators, each with 2 connections. Sequential Read/Write test. Results: Max theoretical Write throughput =4*3*40=480 MB/s Max theoretical Read throughput =4*3*60=720 MB/s Results: Write: 96% scaling at 460 MB/s Read: 93% scaling at 672 MB/s 1
