2 The FORCE 16 INTERCEPTOR is designed for high-speed (up to 90 knots), extraordinary maneuverability, and exceptional sea keeping. It is ideal for coastal operations and severe conditions up to sea state 9 with force 10 winds. This stability makes it possible for crews to focus on the mission instead of trying to keep their balance. The stable platform also significantly improves the accuracy of on board firearms. Thanks to its low superstructure, shallow-draft, low radar and IR signatures, the FORCE 16 remains hidden from adversaries until it is upon them. The very sharp turning circle allows the FORCE 16 to outmaneuver its target at high speeds in tortuous environment such as mangroves. The FORCE 16 INTERCEPTOR can be equipped with a small weapon system such as two12.7 machine guns and a remote controlled 20 mm gun, and/or two small missiles. The FORCE 16 can carry a light helicopter (or drone) with radar surveillance to provide an affordable mini Eye in the Sky system. 7 Armor: Optional Ceramic (or other specified material) can be incorporated into the cockpit and fuel tanks thus offering the same armoring level as combat helicopters. Other parts of the ship are armored by quadriaxial fiberglass/kevlar and adequate structural resin applications (Vacuum). It is possible to further increase the armor for 14.5 mm API-B32 ammunition with new high tech material with a reasonable increase in weight.
